    Pros

    You get free soda.
When you first start that make you feel like it's going to be great it's a trick don't fall it.

    Cons

The software that we use do not work
Your computer May completely shut down in the middle of a call
Hugh tell the supervisor and they just tell you to move to another seat
They don't follow their own procedures and protocols
Nothing is black-and-white everything is great it's a 50-50 chance no matter what you do that it could or could not be good.
They don't care about their employees at all

    Advice to Management

Advice to management will be to rebuild the management because they turn a lot of good employees to leave are turning them bad I made it to where they didn't care about their job.

I worked at SiriusXM part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff at all levels. Willing to teach and mentor newbies. Once you're in, you're in. Upwardly mobile career path.

    Cons

There wasn't a choice as to where I would intern. My experience and course of study was not relevant to the internship that I was assigned.

    Pros

Lots of fun! i worked at the Opie & Jim morning show, so hours weren't great- I'm just not a morning person. It's a pretty relaxed and chill environment. If you really want a job there, just be personable and actively make relationships and getting a job won't be that hard.

    Cons

You won't learn unless you make them to teach you. You will very much spend most of your time getting coffee/breakfast/lunch and running other errands for management and guests of the show. You won't get a lot of guidance, if you aren't a go-getter and a serious self-starter, you'll leave knowing only little more than what you did going in.

    Pros

People in the company are great to work with. The office environment is not too rigid and people are always looking for a reason to party.

    Cons

Pays below the market standards and didn't see many people moving up.

    Advice to Management

Give a visible growth pattern to the employees

    Pros

Got to network and develop relationships with employees. You are important to them, and if you want to educate yourself on radio ... this is the place for it.

    Cons

Its fun and you'll want to work all the time ... but its little pay.

I worked at SiriusXM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very relaxed work environment. Coworkers are great people.

    Cons

Little pay and even smaller recognition from upper management. A lot of overtime hours that you don't get paid for. The work becomes monotonous. Little room for growth because all the higher ups remain in their positions, so there are rarely any openings.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees feel more appreciated, then there might not be such a high turnover of employees.

    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    Benefits are comparable
VP is genuinely encouraging and appreciative, approachable
Nature of business and technology is innovative and exciting
Pay and bonus is comparable for some

    Cons

No way to manage up, there is no employee survey or any other way to give feedback regarding job satisfaction
    Minimal, incomplete training for supervisors
Inconsistent, unspecific feedback from management. More of a reactive than proactive action style.
No career pathing, though requested and promised to be an initiative.

    Advice to Management

It is important to be customer service oriented and people centric in this field. If you are not a people person, and you do not sincerely show a concern for cultivating and culture where people feel appreciated and included, it will continue to be difficult to drive results and we will keep seeing top performers leave.

    Pros

You work at a "successful" national broadcast platform.

    Cons

If you work in programming, you are underpaid, undervalued, and upper management is not an advocate for you.

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for, and middle management is a prime example of that anecdote.
