    I worked at SiriusXM full-time

    Pros

I found it to be a fun, easy-going atmosphere. In fact I actually enjoyed going to work, and my fellow employees made the experience even better. Good salary and benefits, too. 5 stars for this.

    Cons

Inept, clueless, lazy, irresponsible, and incompetent management that couldn't find its own butt in the dark using both hands. They seemed to think they knew your job better than you did when they didn't even know their own jobs. Adept at keeping employees busy (usually doing some pointless, repetitive, and mundane task) but not productive. Minus 2 stars for this.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue or get another job. Somewhere else. Far away.

    Pros

Summer Fridays, Bonuses, and Stock options. Work life balance

    Cons

Not Innovative. Complacency. Office politics plays a strong role in advancement with the company.

    Advice to Management

Reward job performance over those that suck up to management while bad at their job.

    Pros

    Free sodas nice environment
Good Training, gym, lockers, free radio, hr very helpful. Managers always willing to help and work as a team

    Cons

Schedules not flexible can not be a minute late ever!! Have a 3 point system with time and after 3rd point you are terminated from Training. So time is very important...

    Advice to Management

    Be more flexible with schedules.

    Pros

Got to meet some pretty famous talents, attend fun events and see the workings of an internet radio show.

    Cons

Not enough direction from supervisors/upper management. Felt lost as an intern sometimes in the sometimes hectic work environment.

    Advice to Management

Have a better daily plan of work to be done by interns. Give more feedback/constructive criticism.

    Pros

Really good people to work with

    Cons

Management makes it hell literally. Screaming, yelling and constant threat of you suck and you'll be fired.
If you want to be abused as an adult than this is the place for you.
    Good luck and stay strong

Ability to learn new equipment and technology

I have been working at SiriusXM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits, a few concert perks, SXM account

    Cons

Nothing special PTO, fear based management, absolutely zero path to promotion, no work/life balance, no culture.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the managers who govern by fear. Do not be so quick to point a finger or throw team members under the bus. The finger is never pointed at yourself.

I have been working at SiriusXM full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is decent. Benefits, paid vacation for full time employees, bonus potential, very good 401k plan, stock grants...

    Cons

Senior Management is filled with angry chimpanzees. Stagnant upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Yelling at your employees like they are your cocker spaniel that just shat on your rug is probably not the best way to motivate people.

    Pros

Filled with smart people who enjoy their jobs and are passionate about the company. Positive work environment with great benefits.

    Cons

Departments can be very siloed and the overall structure is opaque. Senior management can also be difficult to approach. Limited opportunities for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Encourage more sharing across departments: it would save time and effort and foster more teamwork.

    Pros

Incredible room for growth and great working opportunities. Really smart people all around and just incredible facilities across the country.

    Cons

On call 24/7 and sometimes very stressful conditions. People get burned out at times from the workload and/or the stress.

    Advice to Management

Do things to make sure your employees can refresh and not get burned out. Keep an eye/ear on the morale of the staff as that is super important to future success.
