    Pros

Strong core technology. Team of talented people all over the world. Great company to work for, management are very caring and look out for the team. Benefits are good too. Bjarne Hansen, The President is one of the best parts of the company.. He lives by an open door policy. He's totally approachable, moves faster than any of his much younger employees, and loves Sitecore. He treats everyone like family - even gave me a reference several months after I was no longer with the company! "

    Awesome

    Cons

I'm no looking working there is my only Con

I have been working at Sitecore full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The product is solid and delivers on its promise. Customers and developers love Sitecore. The people at Sitecore are very intelligent, honest and care about our customer's experience launching and living with Sitecore.

    Cons

As a privately-held, growth company, the process is still being refined. Things can take longer to accomplish than they should or could. Leadership is changing and we hope it continues to be for the better.

    Advice to Management

Customer's first - marketers, technologists, developers, partners. Our communications and structure should continue to support our customers and partners with thoughtfulness, honesty and empathy. Product development is on the right path!

I worked at Sitecore (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sitecore is a huge system, so a lot of interesting stuff to discover and work with.
Most of the company employees are great people.
    The salary is pretty good.

    Cons

Management staff isn't really good. Their actions are not clear and somewhat confusing.
Some technical decisions are taken based on company (unclear) politics instead of effectiveness.

I worked at Sitecore full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people at Sitecore are dedicated and great at what the do. Best SC's I've ever worked with, and management is open to creativity to get deals done.

    Cons

Like any sales organization, there can be some pressure to bring in your number, but they'll let a bad Quarter slide, just not two.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you're doing, keep your eye on the prize

I worked at Sitecore full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sitecore has a very interesting value offering in the market and that's intriguing. I met a lot of smart people and good people to work with. There is a very tight partner network to work with and soon enough you can become part of the ecosystem.

    Cons

Sitecore has a very top down management culture, also there are cultural diversities in the organization that are not managed and can make people fill isolated. I think that the culture is more like a Microsoft than a tech Silicon Valley shop. People are always work. There is also a lack of transparency.

    Advice to Management

The culture is been defined by accident than a purpose, and I think it needs major attention.

    Pros

Worked with many super intelligent people who are highly motivated and driven toward innovation. Good pay and benefits. If you are in the technology space it is definitely a forward thinking, cutting edge company that can be very exciting to work for as they continue to "disrupt the market" with their ideas.

    Cons

Working in one of the divisions that were acquired, the transition was difficult and cumbersome. In many areas of the company we were made to feel a bit ostracized and it could be difficult to get what we needed from a technical, pre-sales, partner enablement perspective.

    Advice to Management

I know the company is working to streamline global operations, but I would suggest that it is critical to ensure communication across the entire organization. It was a struggle when the division was one that had been acquired.

    Pros

Great location, good compensation/benefits, occasional catering.

    Cons

Lack of department leadership, encouragement and gratitude. Moral is low, and chances of moving forward in the department is slim to none.

    Advice to Management

Department leadership is exponentially lacking. I believe a person running a department should be able to connect with their team members and encourage growth. Unfortunately, there is none of this. Communication is lacking, and when there is communication, it is negative and discouraging. Leaves me feeling very disappointed in the decision I made in accepting my position with the firm.
