I have been working at Sitel full-time

    Pros

    I love the co-workers always.

    Cons

W@H is not easy at all. The help is limited. The ratings are unheard of. The management is poor. As a tech, you should ONLY be working to fix the customer issue and not add to their bill. They expect you to resolve the issue and sale on top of it as if being a tech is not hard enough. Prior to taking the job, we were asked IF we wanted to be in Sales to ONLY respond with a rate of 0 to 10 and I didn't give a good rating because it's not what I'm good at and I go to training and find out I still have to sale. Most of the people I started with have left because they are just not fair at all. They all fail to realize that when a bad survey is given, it ain't just about no empathy. These customers are MAD. Some just don't understand or want to hear that I APOLOGIZE...I KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THAT CAN BE stuff and then you also want to ADD TO THE BILL. Are you serious? If I were the customer, I'd be mad too because you trying to sale when I already got an issue with my service.

    Advice to Management

Change the call flow because nobody wants to say those long drawn out opening and closing on a calls. Be more of a help to your people and your people will stay.

I have been working at Sitel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They will work with your schedule and are very understanding when it comes to occurrences.

    Cons

There are very underhanded managers that will act as if they are on the agent's side but will attempt to get you fired at any cost.

    Advice to Management

Get it together, the turn around rate says it all...

I have been working at Sitel full-time

    Pros

Have to be honest. No pros to offer.

    Cons

A few trainers are rude. Schedule is always changing. Company is not ready when training starts. Pay is low. Ridiculous working hours, and they want to go 24 hours. Good luck with that.

    Advice to Management

Some trainers: There rude behavior is probably a Millennial thing since they think they know it all, have traveled everywhere, but really need to take a course in cultural sensitivities. You don't pretend to be different people by adopting different accents, particularly when you are using a "black" accent when the person in the training module is an African American.

Some of your Millenial trainers need to also treat the older employees with respect. Some day, they will be in their 50s, too. Treat your employees with respect and work with them and their scheduling needs and maybe you may just not be a revolving employee door.

    Pros

Informative, busy call center, friendly, great training.

    Cons

Required to push customers into subscribing to services that they didn't need. Only to charge the customers a monthly fee, and later have to deal with a dissatisfied customer.

I worked at Sitel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ok perks depending on the campaign you work on. In house training for those wanting to advance.

    Cons

Low pay scale considering the work load, Management play favorites and will roadblock those whom they do not wish to advance. Not able to take credentials earned with in-house training with you when you leave. Benefits available but very expensive paycheck ddeductions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the needs of the staff and do not treat them as children. So many are looked over and not appriciated for their experience and loyalty.
