    I worked at Sitel full-time

    Pros

Pro's would be working from home. Overtime is always available at various hours. Learn as go job. Employee discounts and rewards were great.

    Cons

Part time not available. Overtime was often mandatory even going as long as a month. System changes were very often and we would have little time o get familiar with it. Waiting for a SUP call could take up to an hour at times very frustrating for employees and the customers.

    Advice to Management

Try to offer part time as a college student it got hard for me to manage study/ work life. Also try to offer more training or longer training.

I worked at Sitel as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Worked with some of the nicest people and had the opportunity to work with some of the top leading companies in America.

    Cons

It didn't seem to matter what experience you had, everyone started out with same salaries. You could be someone who had been at the top in the financial industry they didn't see your abilities. Not much chance to move up and salary wise they paid the bare minimum if possible.

    Advice to Management

Offer better starting salaries, recognize the skills and abilities of those that come to you. Treating everyone as if they only deserved the minimum wage is not a very good incentive.

I worked at Sitel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Was able to work from home, so no work commute, could take your work anywhere, etc.

    Cons

The job consistently sacrificed great employees by over working them & refused to provide additional support and/or compensation.

    Advice to Management

Fix the culture and show a people first mentality and perhaps your attrition won't be so high.

    Pros

It's a job. Especially, since finding a job in my area is not an easy task. The people are nice

    Cons

The building needs refurbishing. Depending on the campaign you are working on, you are not getting paid for the amount of work they expect you to do. You also don't get benefits for a year.

    Advice to Management

Pay the workers what they are worth. Update the Ocala office

I worked at Sitel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hourly rate. Experience working in insurance can be used after leaving Sitel.

    Cons

Hourly rates capped. No point in staying long period. 3 months to get raise promised processed in the system. Harassed re going to bathroom too often. Any benefit 3 to 6 months to process. Red tape abounds. Pressured and micro managed employees.

    Advice to Management

Don't make promises that take 4-6 months to come to fruition. Take advice from your employees and actually use it. Need disinfectant wipes at all stations. Bacteria abounds and everyone gets sick. Don't bully people into doing OT.
