I worked at Sitel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to learn, all the expectations are laid out, great people to work with, they know their business

    Cons

Lots of turn over, many of the people they hire have a poor attitude so managing a team might be difficult at times, there was a salary cap while I worked there

    Advice to Management

External hires shouldn’t be brought in at a higher rate than those already at cap.

    Sales weren't hard to meet.

    Cons

Brick and mortar - Availablity to work from home, however, you must pass their metrics to do so.
Expectations were a little too high, with little support to no support on night shifts. It was sink or swim.
Don't expect to have a life if you choose to move up.

    Advice to Management

Listen to concerns of employees. Don't just decide no one is worthy of your time. Their time, also, is valuable.

•Clients tend to drop out of contract, so you may be moved around
•It's almost impossible to move past a coaching position
•A lot of the departments are disconnected and don't communicate well
•Since you're at home, sometimes it feels lonely and sometimes it's hard to find help when you need it.
•They're starting to outsource call centers and because of this some agents are losing their jobs
•You only get a $0.25 raise once a year IF you have good metrics

    Advice to Management

Stop outsourcing to other countries and start communicating better with your employees.
