I worked at Situation Interactive full-time

    Pros

-A lot of responsibility (depending on your position) to challenge you and help you grow
    -Great employees to work with
-Fun events every month (even if you're not interested in the events, it's awesome that they still have them)
-Transparency from President - actually, he's the best President you'll ever work for

    Cons

-Long hours sometimes due to clients
-Sometimes weird office politics but that's everywhere

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, continue listening to your employees and prioritize them.

I have been working at Situation Interactive full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The fast-paced, always evolving environment really gives employees ample opportunities to grow with the company, as long as you're ambitious and keep up with trends that arise.

    Cons

Senior leadership isn't always on the same page, which makes it difficult to expect the rest of their teams to effectively collaborate and communicate.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example, and stick together as a united front.

I have been working at Situation Interactive full-time

    Pros

Situation offers fun perks - free tickets, office events, museum reimbursement, etc. - and has a collaborative, upbeat atmosphere. A recent restructure of the 'chain of command' has created clear growth paths, and seniors actively look for growth opportunities for their teams. Digital continues to expand (content development, live streaming, 360, wearables) and Situation never shies away from trying to bring a new idea to life.

    Cons

"Following process" can be more like a guideline than a rule. If you like to follow very strict steps (and want others to follows those steps, too) to get things done, this might not be the right fit for you. If you enjoy starting with an idea and figuring things out along the way with teammates, this is your jam.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop middle management team and empower them to drive decisions for their departments and, as a group, for the agency.

    Pros

A great dynamic digital agency, if you are keen to learn and grab an opportunity when it presents itself, then the sky is the limit at Situation. The leadership team are genuinely invested in the development of junior staff and that shows through in the culture and work. Nice mix of clients and verticals within the entertainment space, which lends itself to those who like a fast-paced changing environment where each day looks different.

    Cons

Due to the fast growth of the agency and the types of clients, you need to be a self-starter and be able to learn on the job. Processes are always changing which creates a chaotic work environment. Long hours are not uncommon, so a genuinue passion and excitement for your clients is a must to fit in here.

I have been working at Situation Interactive full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A fun, young and growing company in the live entertainment space. The employees are very kind and for the most part hard working and innovative. Great perks such as free dunkin and often time comped tickets from clients. Management for the most part is super understanding and always has their doors open if needed.

    Cons

Some office politics, and cliques. Pay and hours could be better, but it depends on the department you work in.

    Pros

Everyone was nice, and there were definite perks to working at Situation, like free tickets to shows and events and snacks in the kitchen.

    Cons

I felt there were limited opportunities for growth. There was also very high turnover rate, with multiple employees leaving every month.

    Pros

Awesome agency especially for new talent entering the job force. The staff is very amicable and the environment is friendly and cooperative.

    Cons

It is driven more by account, and doesn't allow creative to be in direct communication with the client. I think if creatives were able to present their own work and give reasoning behind creative decisions it would be a more cohesive process.

    Advice to Management

I would see if the creative team can have more input. While account is responsible for servicing what the client requests, the game of telephone can sometimes get in the way and then ends up in seeming like the account team is having more of a creative input than the creative team itself.
