I have been working at Six Flags part-time

    Pros

The pay is good. That's about it l.

    Cons

Where to start, the leads think they're better than everyone else and some will call you out if a guest makes a complaint about you in front of everyone. HR is a joke as are the Supervisors. You'll never see your Supervisors unless you're getting certified.

    Advice to Management

If you're smart, you'll listen to the employees or you'll be running a park on your own.

I worked at Six Flags (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits and pay, a lot of opportunities for advancement

    Cons

    Bad training and favoritism

    Advice to Management

A lot of the supervisor ignored policies for employees that were their friends and would not give the same treatment to other employees. The supervisors also do a poor job at training employees

  3. "Overall not a good place to work, horrible hours, practically no usable benefits, low wage, and lack of good management"

I have been working at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free entry into the park, but once you work there you won't want to

    Cons

Basically everything, other than the free entry to the park, meals at the employee cafeteria are outrageously expensive and scheduling is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Get it together, find people who are qualified for management and take a few classes on management

    Pros

    - Free admission to the park for yourself and a guest
    - Decent discount
    - A lot of hours

    Cons

    - Everyone is always in each others business
    - Full-time leadership are oblivious to what actually happens in the department
    - Sessional leadership forms cliques within the office

I have been working at Six Flags part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Current employees get a lot of discounts throughout the park, employees get free complimentary tickets, and also free parking. Also, employees get exit clearance at most rides throughout the park.

    Cons

Working outside in any kind of weather, the work hours vary, you never know when you're going to clock out from your shift. There is HIGH favoritism within the employment latter, they work you like a robot and treat you like a robot. You can tell that the workers don't care about you and your life outside of work! They don't care care about your health. Their stupid point system needs to go asap!

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the point system and update the ugly uniforms.

I have been working at Six Flags part-time

    Pros

    -Free Admission
That's it, literally. Don't expect to enjoy anything here.

    Cons

-Prejudiced Schedulers won't give you work
-Your management is much younger than you
    -Treated like criminals
-"Discounted Prices" is actually just normal price without the 'attraction increase'. Still paying 3$ at vending machine for a drink in employee area.
-Expect friends of management to get hours and promotion priority, not experience
    -Never recognizes good work
-Management sleeping in backrooms while hourly works hard on busy days
-Steals your labor by forcing you to clock in 'at place of work' but forced to work while walking through the park---Threatens to discipline you for 'wage theft' if you clock in before you start working. Seriously, one lawyer just needs to visit this place.

    Advice to Management

Seek out and neutralize the enormous amount of Nepotism at Over Georgia.
Your head of departments are ran by social clique leaders, not professional management heads.

I have been working at Six Flags part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free admittance, for employees discontinued food.

    Cons

Blatant lack of training, uncaring demanding supervisors, punitive atmosphere, inflexible scheduling, unlivable wages, brutal working conditions. This especially scary considering the safety aspects inherent in an amusement park.

    Advice to Management

Get real. You get what you sow. Treat employees with dignity respect and trust, pay a decent salary and make training effective.

I worked at Six Flags part-time

    Pros

Bring a friend free, 35% off discount, and Free parking benefits
Great people to work will, (Read Cons as to why)

    Cons

Scheduled for a 6 hour shift and constantly being sent home 3-4 hours early because they have too many employees and over scheduled, worse place to work terrible experience, full time employees don't get better treatment many stay because its close to home and they've been there for so long , forced to pick who goes home and who stays, when people have bills to pay, full time or part time. Much of the time when choosing who goes home, many of the employees usually the young ones, volunteer to go home, because they do not have bills to pay.

    Advice to Management

Don't send people home early, many have bills to pay, not worth the gas money

I worked at Six Flags full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are some real and genuine people that work there.

    Cons

Pay, hours, working conditions, opportunities to have an actually career are non-existent, and workload is unreasonable.

    Advice to Management

Unfortunately upper managements focus is on rewarding employees with anything that does not cost money or does not involve paying employees more money. Focus on the employees rather than the bottom line.
