I have been working at Sizewise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Haven't found one yet.

    Cons

Low pay, you get one raise a year and it's very small. (Avg 2 maybe 3 peecent) thats a joke. And it's not about what you know it's who you know. Hard workers watch while others are buddy's and stand around. Worse than a high school clique.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your people and recognize who has the talent and who is just brown nosing.

I worked at Sizewise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No prior experience required, learn on the job. The medical and dental benefits are good.

    Cons

Expected overtime. Job is physically demanding. Long hours. Company is commonly understaffed and relies on the 200% constant effort from overworked employees. Opportunities for a raise due to tenure are there but raises are small and not proportional to amount of effort. Management is unprofessional and often does not consider the needs of the employee that is responsible for retaining and servicing the client.

    Advice to Management

Work harder to provide for your team and know that it is the medical technician that makes your business possible. Not the sales representative or executives.

    I worked at Sizewise full-time

    Pros

This company doesn't offer many pros. I suppose if you work there the pro is you have a job vs being unemployed.

    Cons

Very little/no training. As Operations Manager you will be expected to do all tasks they list on the job performance list, but what they do not tell you on there is that you will be on call as much if not more than Med Techs. As salary you will be called out nights and weekends and get $0.00 for it. This isn't every once in a while. This is a weekly event, you will be on call a minimum of 2 days a week and 1 weekend a month and again get $0.00 for it. They have an incredibly high turnover rate due to poor management. I worked there for approximately 1 year and when I left there was no one there that was there when I started, including the regional manager.

    Advice to Management

Train employees, keep your word, pay managers for on call, no one likes to work for free and will only do it for so long.

    Pros

Aggressive product development and increasing company reputation.

    Cons

It's not what you know to advance the company , it's who you know in the company.

    Advice to Management

Hire people on qualifications, not on brown nosing abilities.

    Pros

Big territory, no one telling you how to run your territory, a lot of opportunity, be willing to work for it

    Cons

Corporate does not understand how to manage markets, base pay is weak, commission is based on getting customers to pay within 6 months or you lose that $$$, rentals are not competitive price wise.

    Advice to Management

no 2 markets are the same, each market has its own value, there is more competition in bigger regions, must be price competitive to stay in the game

I have been working at Sizewise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Plenty of opportunity for overtime pay. Decent training. Good reputation.

    Cons

Lack of concern for safety, faulty vehicles and equipment, failure to adhere to quality control standards within my unit.

    Advice to Management

$$ is not the bottom line! Focus on ROI and making the business as efficient and profitable as possible while maintaining safety and high customer service. More work does not always equal more profit!
