I have been working at Sizzler USA full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I enjoy working for Sizzler because there are a lots of challenges on a very fast phase enviroment, high quality standards are a must towards our customers and peers. Resilience is a key to love your job every day.

    Cons

As usual on restaurant business, I would say I miss enjoying holidays with my family.

    Advice to Management

I would love field operators to be more involved on business decisions.

I have been working at Sizzler USA part-time

    Pros

Easy job, occasional tips, majority of co-workers have been pleasant to work with.

    Cons

Many rude customers almost every single shift, unpleasant manager, have to do some dishwasher work which I was not told about prior to being hired

    Advice to Management

There is one manager in particular who has been nothing but condescending and unpleasant to work with. She is not fit for management at all.

I worked at Sizzler USA full-time

    Pros

Very difficult to think up any besides some of the nice clients

    Cons

Lies during interview. Worked there full time then when the desired shift opened up in my home, it was given to someone else?? Toxic atmosphere

    Advice to Management

Reward Excellent Employees with basic respect. If certain hours arise in a home, offer it to employees ALREADY working there. KEEP long shifts together (6-24 hrs) instead of spread apart. Don't deny requests to place shifts back to back. No one wants to work a Tuesday afternoon to Wed Morning then come back on Friday if htere is a shift open on Thurs- Friday also. Don't try to take over the Clients families rights. Honor the families of the clients.

I worked at Sizzler USA part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great to make long term customers and some okay coworkers. Serving is a plus because of tips. Lots of interaction with guests.

    Cons

Owners look down and degrade their GM and managers. Thus makes the managers don't value their employees (pushing the blame to the little ones). Which then leads to poor/hostile work environment. Over worked cooks. Pay is way low for them. Harassment (mainly verbal harrassment) seems to be avoided when brought to attention. They just brush it under the carpet if possible. Which I've seen.

    Advice to Management

Stop and look around. Everyone matters!
