I worked at Skanska (Less than a year)

    Pros

They try to make it a good atmosphere
They're upfront about their policies so you're not going to be surprised

    Cons

They can make you move A LOT, to follow projects. For settled people it might just be that they fly you back every weekend but you're still not going to be in your own bed for a lot of your career
There can be seriously painful amounts of downtime if projects don't line up so the boredom can be nigh unbearable at times
    Pay is not amazing

Got to work on really amazing projects. Skanska was very big on diversity for a construction company. Pay was good and yearly evaluation and raise.

    Cons

Did not have much of a work-life balance. It was expected to pull a lot of hours, burning out employees easily.
