    They take care of their employees, and they really do care about your work/life balance.

    Cons

    Limited advancement opportunity outside of the construction business

    Advice to Management

    It is what it is. Great place to work, competitive salary and excellent benefits. If you work in IT or a non business/construction related unit your advancement opportunities are limited, which is understandable.

    Pros

    Global reach with experience in building and infrastructure construction and commercial and PPP development. Relies on past excellent reputation. Strong market share in Nordic countries.

    Cons

    Lead by a lawyer so Internally focused on risk management. Customers, employees and innovation are no longer a priority. All about making money and Share price. Bureaucratic with lots of policies and procedures. No vision. Lots of turn over at the leadership level.

    Advice to Management

    Act in accordance with the company values.

    Strong stable company. Wide portfolio of clients and project types. Competitive benefits. Good depth of staffing capabilities. Salaries in line with market

    Cons

    Upper management weak with little vision. Not very tech savvy PM Systems dated and clumsy. Tendency to promote on “emotion” rather than capability or project opportunity

    Adopt technology quicker. Use growth to provide opportunity to advance

    Learn there is more to being capable of being great at a job than 4 years of school, work and life and education as well.

    Pay, bonus, worked with some great people

    Cons

    We we're bought out by Skanska. They changed our whole family owned company. Losing clients, laying off loyal employees.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees, clients should be a top priority. You market yourself as a perfect company. On the inside we know it's all for show.

    Good Benefits - Health, Vision, Dental, 401k matching up to 3%
    Strong Safety Culture
    Good Diversity at all levels (below national positions)
    If your project is staffed properly, work/life balance is good.

    Cons

    Salary is on the lower end for industry and bonuses are rare.
    Processes and operations are not consistent from job to job, making it hard to put together and run a project successfully.
    No clear way to advance in your career.
    Upper management doesn't offer much support when a project is showing red flags.

    Advice to Management

    Support your teams. Don't leave them between a rock and hard place and expect them to still perform well.
