    I worked at Skechers U.S.A. part-time

    Pros

Other store managers were willing to help when needed (and they were needed a lot considering we were understaffed for months).

    Cons

    DM was no help.
    Underpaid.
Worked FT hours, regularly but PT on paper :/

I worked at Skechers U.S.A. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Schedule flexibility, immediate staff was amazing. Great employee discount and even friends and family. Easy systems to learn Kronos, apropos.

    Cons

Expected labor vs hours(wages) nearly impossible, DM had to always give final approval to hire pt associates made me feel incompetent.

    Advice to Management

If you have a manager allow them to do the job they were hired to do. Consider the actual labor and task expectations before assuming it's possible to complete with bare minimum hours.

I have been working at Skechers U.S.A. full-time

    Pros

Employees are all very friendly. SKECHERS puts on some great parties.

    Cons

Boss was hardly ever in the office, so there is sometimes a lack of communication. Doesn't show management is invested in employees. In my position there was really no growth opportunity.

Need more flexible time off or increase rate of accrual after a year or two not five!

    Advice to Management

Be in the office and readily available to employees.

I worked at Skechers U.S.A. part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Skechers had a fun atmosphere and every weekend, there was a customer appreciation event with free snack distribution for customers. There was room for career advancement, to a certain limit.

    Cons

Compensation is something that should improve, since it was based on hourly, but you were expected to reach a quota everyday.

    Advice to Management

    Work on compensation for employees.

    Cons
