Lots of options for work - if you want a job you can get one. Loved working in the library, and some other departments on campus. Dining services is rough and everyone is required to work there the first year.
Minimum wage, lots of variation for different jobs (even within one department). Luck drives most of how you'll like your job.

Super easy job, great boss (sweet, chatty) working for fantastic professors who usually ask very little of student employees- looks good on a resume, particularly the administrative duties. Hours are very flexible and tailored to your schedule- once you get this job, you have it for the rest of your time as a student unless you really mess up.
Pretty low pay for students, minimum wage, but if you're just looking for spending money it isn't too bad. Can be a bit boring if you don't have any work to do to fill your time, but I usually have a great amount that I have to get done so I'm never unoccupied.

-Beautiful campus -Life-changing experiences -Shift managers are absolutely the most amazing people
-Make less than minimum wage -No room for advancement/raise (there are no student supervisor positions, as there are at the other cafes) -Customers are very entitled -Upper-level management never orders the correct amount of product for the week -No discounts on anything

I enjoyed the atmosphere of being at the sports games. I also enjoyed the fellow employees.
I was only being paid minimum wage.

-Great community feeling -Behind the scenes look at Admissions -Fun events -Knowledge about upcoming developments before the rest of the school is informed -Freedom to choose shifts, trade, accept or decline
-Student wage (less than minimum wage) -Challenging tasks -Must give tours even in extremely unfavorable weather conditions
