    Negative Outlook

I worked at Skilrock Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They are in cyber city. Some people genuinely want to work with their skills but the upper leads are not open to learn from the skilled. The company will not close ever because of strong backing. You can learn from google with enough time to some new technology to upskill yourself for future. Free breakfast and lunch. They are orthodox about non veg though. They never use thread concurrency, scalable... technologies, design patterns (basics) and it has some international clients. Even an electrical engineer who knows little about code can join. So you will learn but different version of software development.

    Cons

The company has huge funds from the parent company. The upper management is good while the software heads, sitting inside the company, are taking it to nowhere and befooling the upper mgmt. The process of software development is filled with workarounds and copy from here and there. They are gurugram based but a lot of the employees are from rajasthan, the place where the software head belongs to. Lot of... critical issues exist on production. They are more interested to make a quick low quality software which is full of work arounds, copied from here and there, zero design pattern and zero applicability of the s,o,l,i,d principles of java. It is a tutor co where people from diverse background come and learn and move on with theory knowledge to other cos. The core engine of the software is full of vulnerabilities.

    Advice to Management

It might matter for you to show the clients that you are in cyber city but what is the meaning when the people sitting at top do not know about real softwares but workarounds to make it. I want this co to grow, it matters that 10 years in a row, I may proudly show it on my resume. If your software goes vulnerable because of huge users transactions one day, you would repent the tens of years you've invested in it.... Thanks

I have been working at Skilrock Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

free lunch that they keep shouting free free in every appraisal. flexible hours but they keep track of in and out time to use it against you whenever they want

    Cons

dummy and deceptive HR. Just keep giving excuses on every matter. has no control over processes and employee issue resolution. Just keep saying - talk to your lead, talk to your manager..... No justifications for the appraisal grade given. leads just backfire you on asking justifications on grade. humilate in meetings by giving indirect references. head has no guts to communicate the correct information and just... judge people based on his leads feedback. and even if feedback reaches to him he just pospone the things. There is no clear justification on the appraisal basis. People close to the head (there are few leads and his chamchas) who get good ratings and they bypass their own rules of giving ratings.and on asking they say it is a exception. Any good resource or senior manager comes they just make him so useless that they leave as early as possible. I am sure that after this review comment there will be 2-3 very good reviews because HR is on this mission to keep the glassdoor ratings up. (you can see the pattern). No team bonding activities and clebrations. No training and learning support its just self study, Ofcourse if someone do the self study then leave the organisation quickly. HR can bring any policy at any time without any information. They expect timelines for every work but do not follow any timelines for themselves - bonuses (part of CTC) get delayed and paid in parts. never ever get trapped in their salary structure (3 year retention bonus). its useless. you won't like to stay here for three years.

I have been working at Skilrock Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

people are good but only the normal employees below manager. no kind of politics or something fresher gets the opportunity to write code on main project company location is very nice anyone can apply any level fixes in code and make the app running

    Cons

only one manager there to run whole company no software in the last two years i have seen as running could make you at risk if you are thinking to rely on it for future people strength is about 40. yeah almost three fourth crowd are freshers who learn code by writing on main project no training for freshers no clear way of running the project requirement comes not from any PSO team but the manager himself... decides what to bring there in the project. content from other websites is also pulled silently here and just changes ae there from UI right, no documentation at all only open source software used so how can there database handle big data as this company claims to be lottery based big risk to its CLIENTs too because there is no refactoring of code or Database or documentation design of their websites are matching to www.betvictor.com/‎, performance can be concerned from how many clients have left this company as partner because of bad performance very low payscale no cafeteria no salary slips on time no cultural activities no learning because most of the crowd is fresher though it is also there in fb but seriously it is not even the least bit of it no portal for salary slips or twiki no non veg strictly no magazines

    Advice to Management

Change the upper most heirarchy because what i foresee ,though i wish it would be wrong but since the ceo is young, upper managerial heirarchy is the loose point which could made company at risk with their earnings continued greatly, it can be easily concluded by looking at the success calender of the company in past four years upper mgmt could take this company to heights but not in the current situations.
