    I worked at Skilrock Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    People who count Breakfast and Lunch on pros. From my opinion it's not a pros and neither have any

    Cons

    HR Management is worst. Salary Structure is worst as they are giving 4.2 CTC for freshers but giving only 20-22k. Appraisals policy is worst. Good Employees and Project Manager already left the company. Even they don't deserve a single star here.

    Advice to Management

    Please tell your employees truth and don't play with their carrier.

    Pros

    Free lunch is the only pro. But that's what they tell you that they are giving during appraisals.

    Cons

    1.) No appraisals, not even for hard working employees. 2.) Bad Management 3.) No work life balance. 4.) No HR policies. 5.) No senior employee. A fresher can take the interview for 10 years experience. 6.) No process

    Pros

    Nothing as pros. Worst Environment.

    Cons

    Never join this Company. Manager wants to see you before he arrives and manager also want to see you in office until he leaves. No cab facilities. One Most important problem of Managers is they take all the credits of employee, they don't take stand for his team. Appraisals and bonus are dependent on only one man not on your performance so there is no benefit to stay here for long time.

    Pros

    There are none. As some reviews mention free food as Pros. But it also is not a pro as during appraisal time they tell people that we have incremented your salary less because we are also giving you food which costs X amount per person.

    Cons

    There are two people working as TLs in company for last 5 years. One of them has good knowledge but does not wants to share it. Other person has no knowledge but claims credit for every body's work (even freshers). Appraisal are really bad and are always 4-5 months late. There is no way you can get good appraisal by working hard and doing good work because at the end your TL is going to take credit for all your... work. If you work 24*7, then there might be a chance that you get an appraisal of 8-10%. Management is never able to justify why they are giving such bad appraisals because there is no justification because they simple don't want to pay to the employees. Management never listens to other employees and never believe in them except those two senior persons and project manager. As many reviews below claim that they use new technology, it is true but lack of knowledge or no knowledge about the technology in senior people only makes it worse as no one is able to guide properly. If you get stuck somewhere and ask for help from senior people they search it on google and give you the first answer they get and you end up being stuck where you were because they don't understand why this solution will work or not work. HR Policies are not transparent. And you will get to know new policies which you never have heard of in the scenarios where company is at loss and employee is at gain. They don't value employees, they don't want to pay them but want to work them as slaves even on weekends. The best part is that HR's also have no knowledge about policies and are equally clueless. I have seen many people working really hard but they got no recognition or appreciation. Infact their TL was roaming and telling people that he has done 80% of the work and his team knows nothing. Company tried to implement Agile and follow TDD approach for development but never followed correctly. They wanted to come out off Waterfall model. What they managed to do is run Waterfall Model only keeping Agile as front. Few reviews say, good for Freshers but in this company where there is very little to learn they also reach saturation point in 6 months. They are just killing the creativity of Freshers as they are not allowed to pitch in any new ideas or state their views. They are only supposed to do work as slaves keeping their mind and mouth shut. If you try to say something or prove your TL or PM wrong they say that I have to give your reviews for appraisal or training period. Mostly TLs and PMs are the main reason for negativity in the organization. There is no work-life balance as they want you to do extra work but don't want to compensate for it. Notice period for Freshers for 2 years after Training Period is 3 months after 2 years is 45 days and for Experienced 1 and 1/2 years is 3 months then 45 days. They don't want to hire experienced people as they will need to pay more. For the experience people they hire by mistake either have no fluent knowledge on Technologies company is working or they leave company after 1-2 months. Here 30-40% part of CTC is variable. So, if you have a CTC of 5-5.5 LPA then your in hand salary would be around 3.5-3.8 LPA. CTO is a knowledgeable person but behaves as dumb sometimes and mostly favors female employees. CTO never addresses to the employee problems. He wants people to ask him everything whether you have to add a status column in database or HR has to buy toilet papers and tissues. Reviews claiming this company to be good are from people still in their honeymoon period as they haven't really worked on projects which actually are on production just demo products.

    Advice to Management

    I am writing these advices though it won't matter. Stop paying to people who do shoddy work and care for employees working hard. Try to take inputs from employees other than TLs and PM you will get the real picture in your organization.

    Complimentary lunch! I'm just writing something here so as to fill in the minimum word limit that is to be mandatorily written by the review writer for posting on this site.

    Cons

    HR Structure is worse than ever you'll encounter in your whole freakin life! There is a huge difference between your package and your In hand salary, also they lie about the bonuses to the freshers, when time comes, they say that you joined after march, so no bonuses till next cycle. Appraisals and Bonuses come 3 months late. The HR staff does false talks of getting them early making fool outta employees to have... patience. The appraisals are extremely bad, also, in many cases, the in hand salary was decreased instead of increasing. Discrimination in freshers hiring scale viz. Government(3.6 LPA) vs Non_Government/Private (2.8 LPA) Talking of HR staff, One does the job of catering, and other definitely doesn't do the HR kinda work as the processes are that late, and they themselves don't know the answers of bonus and appraisal timelines. Coming to technology part, OBSOLETE, whether its backend or frontend, no new look and feel on the frontend, and no improvements done on the backend like migrating to NOSQL, newer SDK versions. Even the developer's machines running on slow hardware and legacy screens. If a problem occurs in the backend part, then the only solution they come up is to restart the server. Talking of senior management, they are obsolete people with no knowledge of whats going in the current era, and they are stuck in this company as they won't get a job elsewhere because of their legacy minds and lack of exposure. There are plenty of resignations frequently from the employees, but they simply don't matter to the company as the company is heftily backed by its parent company #S&D, viz. loss doesn't count at all! Hence Employee satisfaction doesn't matter in this case. Also they give warnings to employees that there will be serious action taken on them if:- 1. They go for a walk after lunch 2. They sit in cafeteria for having their evening Coffee 3. They don't complete 9 hours billing, regardless of the work/efforts done by them for the product 4. They come after 9'o clock time 5. They take 10-15 mins refreshment breaks

    In DLF Cyber city,SEZ, the best place in gurgaon employees inside are very helpful in terms of sharing any kind of personal or professional info, growth of each other code written by freshers college like atmosphere because 34/50(approx) are freshers or less than two years exper guys softwares are live in Africa countries

    technology: 1. Only open source s/w used, enquire yourself of standards followed @ redundancy in code, naming convention, code review, code repository mgmt, db queries,2. zero documentation internally for code reuse, tracking(people are free to write code of any of their own standard with goal must be achieved 3. agile being followed with no iteration, just implement what need arises 4.could become big someday --... because always keep implementing newly made but completely copied, their concepts, from others just by registering accounts 5. no poc on anything. quality: if you are concerned, explore yourself of the standards, quality or tools, maintenance tools, poc, db management, by hook or by crook way to implement. management: hardly accessible no internal twiki or portal atmosphere: 1.professionalism - either 0% or 100% varies according to what is beneficial to the company 2.no hierachy of deparment wise leads,managers,product, only lower levels are classified. 3.forget about cafeteria, medical/first-aid, easy print outs, salary slips on time, any twiki or internal portal, proper documents of even joining, one day medical leave and medical paper is must, one HR occupying admin, procurement, internal finance etc 4. no cultural/festival activities/funding 5. seen lot of people leaving overnight without docs, forget your releiving or experience documents 6. no cab facility 7. no PF accounts 8.over and over delayed appraisals, ironically no different relegon guys 9.non veg strictly not allowed 10.dumb and deaf admin dont get shocked its cmmi3

    Advice to Management

    any organisation is great if employees are great, reach them, let them say, bring experienced guys having good management, bring admin and some internal portal where atleast salary slips could be available on time. it could affect somebody's future
