Pros
- The people are second to none. Warm, gracious and smart. In many cases colleagues become friends and that makes for an excellent working environment day-to-day. - There is a real focus on learning & development. I put together a learning & development plans which my manager supports, champions and holds me accountable to. You get a significant individual learning budget to spend however you want:... events, courses, classes etc. - And lastly you get recognised when you deserve it. There's an employee of the week, Slack channel dedicated to shouting out when people do good things, and a real focus on showing people appreciation for the hard work they do day-in-day-out.

- There is a fast pace of life and you do have to juggle a lot of responsibilities at once, but that also offers more opportunities for growth than you might have in other businesses - The business is really keenly focused on measurement of success, with metrics and KPIs across the business, so if you aren't the most numerically-inclined, there is a learning curve to get to grips with measuring your own... performance

Pros
No pros - only cons
Cons
- They treat employees badly - I was warned not to join by a former employee - Overall if you want to survive here, ensure that you have no career goals and you want to party on Friday nights - You will be treated like garbage and be pushed out for petty reasons

Pros
The biggest pro is working alongside some incredibly bright minds who are always willing to help/offer their insight so that we can solve interesting problems/provide a great product and have a laugh at the same time. While working at Skimlinks Ive learnt a huge amount. Ive been supported and challenged constantly which has helped me develop professionally and personally. Basically if you want to work for a... company where you can have an impact, be challenged and meet some amazing people then Skimlinks will be a great fit!

Pros
- Hires energetic, smart, good people who care about each other - Has managed to stay relevant and growing in a complex and fast-changing market - Beautiful office and thoughtful perks - Management team who care and work hard - Amazing work/life balance. I have a life outside of work, and I'm friends with people I work with. - Diverse - lots of women in senior positions, lots of different nationalities
Cons
- Things change quickly, probably because of the market. You have to be willing to handle a fast-paced environment
Advice to Management
Continue to work towards bringing more rigour and accountability into how the teams work. As you grow, continue to foster the things that make you special, don't lose sight of the people.

Pros
- Amazing people and culture - Excellent perks (Learning and education budget, ...) - Opportunity to learn a lot of new things
Cons
- Weak project management (Some project have no deadline and even after ~6 months I still had no idea when they are supposed to finish) - It is mostly operational in terms of Sofware Engineering, so there are not a lot of great greenfield development projects
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work! Make sure staff know about the timeline and plan for the projects they are working on.
