I have been working at SkyBlue Insurance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Weekends OFF, 50% to 60% Commission, Closes by 6:30 pm, & Paid Weekly. Coming from a sales and Insurance background you learn pretty quick that the pressure is on and often times you can be asked to do things that are unethical. Well since being at SkyBlue they have showed to be the opposite. They operate with great balance by doing what's best and ethical for the customer as well as not putting immense pressure on Agents. It's a very relaxed and professional environment. The Work/Life balance is very real here. On average we work 40-43 hours a week with agents making $50k-140k per year. 50k is for 1st year Agents. Once you build a good book of business you're at a min of 70k your 2nd year. In all honesty I didn't believe myself until I saw it with my own 2 eyes. Within 6 weeks I personally earned a $2,000 one week check. And this is with NO book of business!!!! There are TONS of leads. TONS of inbound calls & web leads. NO COLD CALLING!!! On average I receive 18 leads per day! The CEO is great. He's here daily. Speaks to everyone. Has a great business model along with a great outlook for the company. We are growing and we were able to survive the Pandemic while other companies were suffering. Overall I am pleasantly shocked by what I have experienced working here.

I worked at SkyBlue Insurance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Leads leads and more leads. As a life long sales person I truly appreciated the fact that I did not have to cold call or prospect for clients. As with all leads, some are better than others. If you put in the time, the effort and have the right mindset, this job can have you making decent to good money very quickly. As for the management, the CEO generally will not micromanage and as long as you are a producing agent it’s fairly low stress. I liked not having to bring my work home.

    Cons

No benefits and low flexibility on schedules. Can’t really blame them for the schedule situation since they have a business to run centered around scheduling their advertising. So this one is more of a personal con. I just wish they could offer health and retirement benefits.

I have been working at SkyBlue Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They leave you alone if you are quiet

    Cons

Dishonest selling, sticking the knife in clients like tons of other brokers out there. Questionable product being sold on the side, check poor Google reviews.

I have been working at SkyBlue Insurance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The Pay is great. The Environment is amazing everyone is friendly and gets along with each other and willing to help you. I’ve never had a job in my whole 10 years of working that I actually enjoyed every minute being there and not wanting to clock out. The management team, is unexplainable, they are very kind and make you feel very comfortable to speak with them regarding any situation you come across or something you are unfamiliar with they are always offering a helping hand and will do whatever it takes to make you a better Sales Agent. I couldn’t be more grateful that I have found my calling and look forward to spending many more years with such a well oriented company.

    Cons

The cons about this company....I honestly can not think of anything bad to say. This is a grade A place !
