    Pros

Great training, variety of bases/aircraft/routes, multiple partnerships, better job security than most regionals, and good people.

    Cons

Lack of flexibility with scheduling department, minimum days off with no ability to drop/swap trips, pressure not to call in sick, and globalization of PBS bidding software.

I have been working at SkyWest Airlines full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You get to fly all over; there's flexibility when it comes to dropping or trading trips; you're not on reserve as long here as you would be at mainline; you get to fly with a lot of the same crew sometimes; we get flight benefits not just one airline but 4 different airlines.

    Cons

First two years will be the hardest but if you can hang in there after that it'll get easier. It takes some adjusting to having a different kind of schedule every week and getting used to different time zones and being on reserve (on call). The first year, they don't allow any calling in because you are on a probationary period. Also there's 4 different airlines we fly for. Depending where you will be based, you might be dedicated to one to three of them. So there's a lot of stuff you have to know especially the 4 different aircrafts that we fly. But SkyWest Airlines is definitely a good stepping stone in getting into the airline industry and gaining the experience.

    Pros

Friendly community I called it. Colleague are best to work it and great place to learn

    Cons

Company 401k % should be increased. Since competitors are doing better. So we can do great

    Advice to Management

Profit sharing should be early than it is right
