I have been working at SkyWest Airlines full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Every one is so interconnected at SkyWest. It really does feel like one big work family. Management and Corporate are only phone call away and they're always very swift with replies and finding solutions for problems. I love most of the crews I fly with and am so glad to have chosen to work for such wonderful company.

    Cons

I really don't have any cons other than that I wish we had East Coast bases too haha.

    Pros

Good benefits with several different partner airlines to fly on. Great group of people to work with and an amazing 7 on 7 off schedule.

    Cons

Pay doesn't match the position or location. Consistently short staffed for several years now, requiring more stressful operations. Company is not willing to take every step to correct the manpower issues.

I worked at SkyWest Airlines full-time

    Pros

The company overall truly seems to care about creating a positive and safe work environment

    Cons

Being on reserve can be challenging. Crew support sometimes would take advantage of the new people and work them into the ground.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to make the work/life balance more fair for flight attendants on reserve.
