      Great and innovative products. Good incentives when marketing supports traffic.

      Cons

      New Siebel operating system is now almost one year old. It's still not working well. This weekend we had our biggest sale of the year the system was running about 1/2 speed that it should. System would kick us out during transactions. Then you couldn't log back in. It's great to take time showing customers the great products, but when it's time to complete the sale, customers want to have their order processed in a timely manner. It gives the appearance to customer that we don't know how to run the computer..One year is more than enough time to fix Siebel, fix or delete it.

        Pros

        Good money if your store hits bonus. Product is great and helps improve lives

        Cons

        Consistency and communication. People who work hard will be taken advantage of and made to do the DMs work with broken promises and when the work is done they will be tossed aside. Nothing is ever good enough. The DM manages with intimidation and bullying. The favoritism is crazy and if your not one of the cool kids your out. When you ask for help you are made to feel incompetent. Everybody is scared for there job in the district. There is no integrity. When I started Sleep Number, I was so excited to be part of Sleep Number family but it is so sad that it is so dysfunctional in this district.

          Great GREAT core product..... and unfortunately right now this is the only pro ......

          Cons

          Who rolls out a brand new computer system to a company without testing it first..... Who spends all of the company's money on buying tech company's ... and who lies to there employees and in return the employee lies to the customer...... guess who......this company is in term oil right now and as an employee I am very very worried about my job at Sleep Number after working at sleep number for many years I might have to fine a new job because I really do not think Sleep Number will over come this .... we have very angry customers they are coming into our stores and screaming and yelling at us employees..... we don't want to answer the phone when it rings because we are afraid it's another unhappy customer wanting to scream at us over the phone..... our work environment is becoming extremely hostile. There is no more team....... no one in the stores are hitting there goal see but those goals haven't changed they are actually getting bigger and bigger ...... something has to give ....... and because of all of this my family is not going to have a great holiday because now my pay check is reflecting all of those cancelled beds that were cancelled because of the company's fault not mine..... tell me as an employee how this is fair to us..... THAT'S RIGHT IT'S NOT FAIR..... it's to the point that we employees are extremely stressed..... and to top it off we are selling against our own company... how can the Internet or customer service offer our customers a better promotion but the store doesn't have the same offer..... it happens all the time....

            Pros

            The people--Customers and co-workers. This company is large, but feels like a small community. This company is full of talented wonderful people all the way from sales professionals to Shelly Ibach. The products is amazing and I love hearing how better sleep can affect one's life in such a positive way! Sleep Number is continually making positive changes to improve the customer experience and I feel that feedback is often well received.

            Cons

            Hours are sometimes long as a manager. Three person stores can be difficult to operate and work in.

              Product is unique and attracts diverse clientele that is the only good thing I can say just typing to have the min words require

              Cons

              Company has lost their way, I got hired with the idea we are retail but we respect family and personal time and min 40 wks for managers now they have force their managers to work a min 45 hrs a week and full week a year without no pay, company removed yearly performance review That will lead to pay increase. So you can work for the company 10 years and make the same as the person that just got hired not way to create a culture of loyalty between employees and the company. The turn around for managers is really bad they don't last more than a couple of months, DM is terrible in our district everyone thinks he is a clown and he has no buy in in the company culture. Is extremely sad to read this reviews where so many people are saying the same thing, I actually feel the good ones are being done by the HR department, which by the one is a complete unreliable source to keep anything you tell them confidential.

                Amazing products, great sales people, loyal customer base Innovative products that are one of a kind and unique

                Cons

                New computer system isn't working going on 4 months and company seems to be in denial of problems, don't feel that company really understands what front line sales people have been dealing with, seems to be getting away from original goal of company - too much focus on innovation and technology, not enough focus on making products better. Customer service a huge problem right now also due to new computer system. Home delivery also having lots of issues. We have been unable to deliver beds within promised time frames and very little follow up done. Company also opening new stores too rapidly and too close to one another making it hard to achieve sales goals and over saturating the area.

                    Pros

                    The company is still at that size where there is an opportunity for everyone to make an impact. It's a company you feel good working for knowing how the products help to improve customer's lives everyday. Solid leadership. Culture with strong values. Working with a group of employees continuously focused on improvement and customer satisfaction.

                    Cons

                    While there is some strong bonus potential, base salary is not as competitive.

                      Senior Resource Manager

                      Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!
