I have been working at Slippery Rock University

    Pros

You (and your kids) can go to school for free. Nice pay raises, but you pay a lot for benefits.

    Cons

Like most universities, there’s a lot of politics. You have to jump through hoops to get anywhere as a staff member, and it can takes years to move up.

    Advice to Management

Try focusing less on hiring less experienced alumni and hire qualified candidates.
