I have been working at Sloan full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, onsite clinic, free fitness center, free coffee. That's just to name a few of the pros. There's an unbelievable amount of tenure and the fact that there are employees around me celebrating 30-40 years says a lot about the culture and the people. The company has been around for over 110 years and continues to grow. Very stable organization and the products are everywhere you go. Another perk is that the company has developed a partnership with the Chicago Cubs, which is exciting if you're a fan like me :-) and players actually visit to do meet & greets at the office. They are also very passionate about sustainability and making products targeted at water conservation so it's great to work for a company that cares about the environment. Privately held and family owned which makes a difference. Pretty cool company to work for!

    Cons

Can't say I've identified any yet.

    Advice to Management

You've done a great job building this company for over century so just keep doing what you're doing!

    Pros

In business for over 100 years.

    Cons

Sloan has many many leaders, with no leadership. 3 Presidents, 6 plus Vice Presidents, numerous directors and almost just as many mangers, 10 plus people in HR. People will through you under the bus and look for another person to back stab at the same time. The company will make up job titles and promotions to keep who they want, and they are the ones who know the least.. Wake up, upper management, look and see whats going on.
