      Amazing Place to Work

      Pros

If you're looking for a company that is really good to its employees and has an incredible work culture, I wouldn't look further than Smaato. During my tenure here so far, both management and my co-workers have done everything in their power to mentor me to success and help me grow as an employee. Smaato has an amazing product, and everyone here constantly works very hard to innovate and make sure it is the pinnacle of the industry. Everyone here is very passionate about what they do! Smaato is a fun place to work with a motivating and inspiring work environment that will spring you out of bed in the morning. If you're looking for a place where you can grow as an individual and employee tenfold, apply to Smaato.

      Cons

Honestly, I've found absolutely nothing negative. Smaato is a super positive company and the best place I've worked at.

Still very happy after first year with Smaato

      Pros

      - Relatively flat company structure that allows for interactions across all position levels (entry- to exec-level) - Very accessible middle management promotes transparency and resource support across the organization - Fun/laid-back office culture (I'm based in New York but San Francisco has also made major strides in this area over the past year) - Empire State Building location (in NYC obviously) offers several perks (eg. in-building conveniences like Starbucks, Walgreens; access to amazing gym for ~$1/day, etc.) - Challenging but engaging work load in fast-paced (read: never boring) work environment - Upside potential for employees as largest independent mobile ad exchange looking for an exit

      Cons

      - Senior leadership's priorities can sometimes come across as distracted/unfocused (eg. baffling importance placed on office aesthetics) - Hiring process needs further streamlining/improvement (eg. current freeze on recruiter-referred candidates makes no sense) - Training/corporate onboarding processes should be more centralized/standardized

      Pros

Very responsible and caring supervisors, I felt trusted to complete tasks on my own and take my own initiative. They also value learning and growth, and were very accommodating in terms of letting me do things I enjoy. Great working environment—the entire office is very friendly and easy-going; a lot of snacks and free food.

      Cons

As an intern I was very satisfied with my experience, can't think of any cons.

      Pros

very international team, a lot of driven colleagues, a lot of responsibility for everyone who is ready to take it, fun at work, great work environment, culture open for innovative thoughts

      Cons

pretty steep hierarchy for the size of the company (on paper, not culture-wise), not enough women in the executive management/ upper management, even more transparency on strategic decisions would be great

      A transforming company!

May 4, 2018 - Anonymous Employee in Singapore
      Recommend
      CEO Approval

      Pros

Great smart and hardworking people. People have so much passion in their jobs. Very employees focused company, provided incentives, employees reward program - stocks options to share rewards to employees and even eligible ex-employees. Most companies would not offer these options to junior employees or employees who had left. Constantly looking to improve our welfare and keeping employees happy by having a beautiful and conducive work environment, enhanced health care, regular and structured performance program. Lots of beneficial training conducted in house. Lots of sharing sessions to allow better industry understanding. Put structured policy to ensure employees are compensated and rewarded as the company profit. Generous in employees engagement programs. Non-political environment, people can voice their opinion without being judged. Senior management regularly travelled to visiting office to interact.

      Cons

Need better Work life balance Very hardworking people who works long hours. All companies have their cons but some are really not as bad. Likely those who had left on bad terms or even bad performers. External Training is needed! Young team, needs lots of coaching
