I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pros: I work my own hours. I physically don't have to be a lot of places. Not strict.

    Cons

Cons: It is mentally stressful. My employees are typically stressed because it is largely commission based.

I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Opportunity. IF and only if you look at this beginning part as an investment in your career and not your job, it is rewarding. -company culture full of young ambitious people. -rewarded on merit -networking with self made millionaires every damn day

    Cons

-it is a LOT of time, energy, and money investment, if you aren't in it for that executive position--you're better off as a server money-wise and time-wise -you won't make as much as other recent grads during your first year--then you're expected to make six figures your first year as owner.

    Advice to Management

Stop five-stepping your leaders into "opportunities" to do things that suck, just be honest especially if they're sold on the opportunity anyways. More transparency goes a long way.

"Overall it was a great learning experience but it is just an MLM. They work you crazy hours for hardly any income."

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The knowledge you gain will definitely help you with a future career. Great team building, marketing, time management, and over all how to put in a hard days work

    Cons

They work you to the bone. Morning meetings everyday at 7am with no chairs to sit. Then from there it's straight to events where your on your feet for 10 kore hours getting hounded with is no's and you do this for 12 days in a row. Get 1 day off and start the cycle all over again

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great environment, nice people and fun. there are good things about this business as far as the people and who you are with. fast paced and fun to do.

    Cons

The hours are a killer. 70 - 80 hour weeks with not as much compensation as you would think. it's all commission based and there are several hours a day when you aren't selling but doing administration.

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Learn a lot about management and about entrepreneur skill set

    Cons

Won't pay you overtime, won't pay you travel allowance, want you to drop everything and work like hell for them, you spend more money for the business then you get out of it, make you work 12-14 hours a day and they consider the hours outside of "the field" are "your opportunity hours and you shouldn't worry about getting paid for them".

    Advice to Management

Nothing-they screw you over even more. I was a manager and they didn't pay me overtime or for travel allowance because they said "you're a manager, not a rep" even though they had me driving 90 miles a day, sometimes more! As well as, I relocated and had to start over and never got promoted into an owner.
