I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You make as much as you put into it. If you work hard it’s easy to make over 1000 a week. You manage yourself so if you do what’s asked of you there’s no way to fail.

    Cons

Long hours. Road trips. Dependant on customer volume.

    Advice to Management

You’re doing a great job creating opportunities that no other company is.

I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

      Pros

You really learn how corporate america and business works here. No office operates under the name "Smart Circle" instead it's a mass network of smaller offices under their own names, that work together to form multi-million dollar contracts. They focus on teaching you to make personal connections and genuinely help people instead of conning people into getting a sale. I myself have even turned people away from a product...

      Cons

When first hired, you're told about how easy the opportunities are to get, however it's much more work than you actually expect. This is not an easy job, and multiple times I've debated about quitting, but something always pulls me back in.

      Advice to Management

Perhaps be a bit more realistic when speaking to potential hires. Explain that it is a tough job, and that you won't be making $40,000+ right of the bat, but will after only a couple weeks.

I worked at Smart Circle full-time

      Pros

      You improve your people skills

      Cons

Everything is sugarcoated and complete brainwashing. Do your research about these branches of Smart Circle before you answer an application. They take everyone, and will tell you that you were chosen out of a large group. Supposedly they made that decision in the 5 hour time frame between your interview and when they call to offer the job. The job is remedial door to door sales, and they claim it's a marketing position....

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Get to meet hard working passionate interesting people. Get to try interesting products. A bit overhyped, but you should expect that from sales. Get to learn sales 101, which is good enough to be called a good salesman. Although it isn't the best sales training possible like they claim, and they are excruciatingly strict on their rules about following their guidelines on it.

      Cons

Lots of brainwashing. Cult style business environment where they force you to act and think like they do or you get snubbed out. They mix truth with white lies and straight out lies, so that you really never know the whole truth, which is they give you empty promises to get you to work hard. They pit a bunch of people and tell them if you act with the business cult standards (talk/act/work-extra-unpaid-hours like them...

      Advice to Management

Learn ethics. You are a human first before a job. White lies, straight lies, and manipulative tactics are a bane to this world and your actions need review to how much you actually gain from it to how much you actually screw people over. You take people's passion and work ethic to suit your own profits when those people have much more potential for the world with other legit opportunities. Be ashamed and leave your...

I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Thorough, structured training in marketing, communication, and business management. Rapid upward mobility. Lucrative entry level. Great opportunity all around. Truly grateful to be here.

      Cons

To be successful here, you have to work hard. It’s not a typical 9-5 and it’s not a good idea for people that want a work/life balance right now. Basically this is a sacrifice a few years of hard work to be able to relax later kind of thing.

      Advice to Management

Continue doing what you’re doing. Thanks for the opportunity

I worked at Smart Circle full-time

      Pros

Smart Circle managers are very caring about their employees, clients and independent sales teams and Smart Circle is great about giving back and philanthropy. Smart Circle takes good care of its employees, and goes the extra mile for company events and trips.

      Cons

It is hard to read the lies online because Smart Circle is not a scam.

      Advice to Management

Keep on with your mission caring for your employees and clients and corporate sales teams.

I worked at Smart Circle full-time

      Pros

The best co-workers. You spend every waking moment together and, since you're all being brainwashed, you are truly the only people who understand each other. If you are crazy enough to give it a try, then you will quickly learn that being successful in this environment means that you are the kind of person who can do anything you put your mind to.

      Cons

Smart Circle should be ashamed. They allow people to be abused and mistreated in their sales offices and take no responsibility. They use the excuse that these businesses are independent of the corporate office... Smart Circle pays to incorporate commission only sales offices representing big name clients in the telecommunications field. In these smaller offices, there are zero health/financial benefits and you will...

      Pros

Established successful company which assures long term development and job security. There are benefits with corporate and work time you can devote to nonprofits. The people are friendly, Larry Tenebaum legit cares about employees and clients.

      Cons

IT team is overwhelmed so IT requests can take some time There is a giant network of 1099 workers that are contracted through independent companies that work in the Smart Circle International network. Advice to Management

You are such ethical people you never respond to the fiction, and slander that Smart Circle is targeted by disgruntled 1099 sales people who are hired by companies we contracted. Its not right that people do this, some legal action should be taken against websites like Glassdoor, and Google for falsely depicting the company I work for. It makes no sense why Glassdoor, Indeed or Google should make a profit because a...
