    Pros

Leadership skills People skills Praise Not much else

    Cons

Legal pyramid scheme High turnover rate so don’t make any friends and they use their “managers” as scape goats. They hire and fire so many and they work you to the core. Businesses under this company inevitably fail.

    Advice to Management

    Fix your structure

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for less than a year

    Pros

No real benefits to working at this company at all.

    Cons

Multilevel marketing scheme, barely legal pyramid scheme that is commission-only. Don't waste your time. Work for a real company.

    Advice to Management

Clean up your act and develop a legitimate business model or shut your doors.

I have been working at Smart Circle full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There is "some" valuable skills taught, chiefly in terms of healthy selling-mentality and taking ownership over your area of work....

    Cons

It's a pyramid scheme that gets "out" of being officially labeled as one because they don't take money from "each" employee all the way down, but the structure in almost every business sense minus the recruit friends and family, and pay to get in part is EXACTLY the same!!! They've perfected it to the point where the larger offices appear so legitimate even the brightest and...

    Advice to Management

Stop recruiting (almost) anybody that will take the job, you can't build a business on a shaky foundation, anyone who's told they'll go from entry-level sales to 6 figure earner in 4-8 months is insane. The "manager in training" excuse can only go so far until people realize EVERYONE is a manager-in-training cus the turnover rate is over 80%...

I worked at Smart Circle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some parts of the atmosphere were uplifting and motivating - I liked the people I worked with.

    Cons

Long hours, pyramid scheme, overworked ... I was supposed to be an intern and was working over 60 hours a week... I ended up giving two weeks and the manager was trying to emotionally manipulate me to stay - do not recommend working for this business. Also, they don't even tell you that they are owned by Smart Circle so it's impossible to know until you're too far into the business.

I worked at Smart Circle full-time

    Pros

Made friends with co-workers, some of the things we sold were good deals.

    Cons

This company is the definition of a pyramid scheme. You will work 6 days a week, 9am - 8pm Monday through Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturdays. You will use your own vehicle driving co-workers around to desginated neighborhoods to sell certificates door to door. This job is pure commission, if you do not sell anything, you will not get paid. Turnover is extremely high and going...

    Advice to Management

Something should be offered to employees who continually use their own vehicles for company purposes.

    Pros

Really positive office environment. Good group of people who are always available to help you with any questions.

    Cons

It's a pyramid scheme. Job posting was very vague and potentially downright dishonest. Pay is horrible and not what I was told during the interview process. "Management training program" promises are way overblown and promise things that they cannot deliver.

    Advice to Management

I'd tell you to be more honest with potential hires but then you probably wouldn't ever find applicants.

    Pros

It looks good on a résumé! If you can do this job well you can do almost anything. It got me where I am today and I learned valuable lessons.

    Cons

It's a complete pyramid scheme. The comments below share all the details of this, but their offices also PAY employees to write good reviews on Glassdoor, indeed, etc...to cover up all the bad ones that expose the truth. Don't trust any 5 star ratings you see. Some brainwashed salesman got paid $50 to write it.

    Advice to Management

Don't put fake reviews about your company online.

    Pros

You become really good at striking up conversations with complete strangers. A few of the other "Sale's Leaders" and myself became close and often would hang out on our 1 day off

    Cons

This company is a typical pyramid scheme. Managers and above all dipping into your personal sales commission. The rumor in the office was the "owner" was stealing our commissions because we had such a high rate of "failed installations" and would never see the commission. You think this company would find the right people to run each branch. The turn over was ridiculous. If new...

    Pros

I would not say there are any pros per say for this job. I did learn some things about sales and marketing. During the training they give you a bunch of concepts and stuff to learn which actually work and are helpful but trust me learning this stuff from them is not worth working for this company.

    Cons

The company smart circle is really not even who you will be working for. Each office has its own name created by the manager who runs and owns it. They promise you big opportunity and all these magical things...In the end if it sounds too good to be true it is!! In the end you could work your butt off and all that means is you would be scam other people into working for this company. My big this was they would not...

    Advice to Management

Have a better handle on your "offices" and "campaigns" you are running. You are a multi-level marketing pyramid scheme but I guess you're ok with that...terrible.

    Pros

None that I can think of- I guess you get a decent workout going from business to business soliciting random people to buy low quality cosmetic products...idk

    Cons

10-12 hour days, Sometimes drive 2 hours with no compensation for gas/ wear and tear, commission only-no base pay even though they claim there is, only way to make any money is by recruiting other people and getting a cut of their commissions, pyramid scheme

    Advice to Management

Get a legitimate business model and pay promised base pay and for gas/wear and tear. This might lower the ridiculous turnover rate by a bit.
