    Cons

Poor management including the owner, high school like work environment. No career path, no real training. Nepotism, gossip, lack of professionalism, and unreal expectations.

    Advice to Management

TRAIN YOUR MANAGEMENT HOW TO MANAGE AND SUPPORT THEIR TEAMS WHICH WILL MAKE THE COMPANY MORE RELEVANT AND SUCCESSFUL.

I have been working at Smart Tuition full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible Environment and Schedule/Work Remotely
    Casual Dress Code
    Open Door Policy
    Unlimited Vacation/Sick Time
    Collaborative Environment
    Ok Pay/Bonus Incentives
    Company Outings/Trips
    Free Snacks
    Open Minded Management
    Beautiful New Office in NJ

    Cons

Office Culture can be a bit catty (High School at times)
    Favorites with managers/employees
Flexible environment and no access to HR opens the door for many complications
    Limited Mobility around the company
    No 401K match
Salary on the lower side of the scale
    Lack of training/learning resources

    Advice to Management

Treat all your employees equal. This company is still a thriving business, and can suffer at the hands of its employees. Offer them a better retirement plan and HR Department. Make sure they also have the resources they need to do their jobs.

I have been working at Smart Tuition full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are 20 great qualities this company has including no vacation policy, flexible scheduling, no dress code, employee outings ect ect I am here to write about genuine concern that upper management showed during a particular career choice that I was faced with. They took business and personal feelings and put them aside. They stepped in my shoes and helped me make the best decision for me, which I am genuinely grateful.

    Cons

None at this time, I love this company and my life for that matter.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide care and concern for your employees, both inside and outside these walls. It means the world to us.

I have been working at Smart Tuition full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

New, modern, and stylish office, some what flexible scheduling, lots of company outings, and a lot of potential with the right people in place.

    Cons

Pay is low for the amount of work required. Summers are the busy season. No career path within the company. Management is very inconsistent. Some managers are micro managers, others offer no support and talk behind your back. Paper job titles.

    Advice to Management

Just because someone is good at their job doesn't make them a good leader. Re-evaluate management staff because some shouldn't be in management. A manager should have its teams back and not stab it.
