      Pros

      Amazing product, great people, engaged upper management. Superior pay, benefits and work/life balance. This is a company that LIVES their values and truly believes in their product. The atmosphere is contagious! I can't say enough good things. If you don't require micro management, like being independent, have the ability to drive change and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this is the place to be. Mediocracy doesn't exist at this company. Oh, and there are quite a few examples of Instead of the leadership team working with an associate on a "better fit" and transitioning them to a new position that focuses more on their strengths instead of just eliminating them. That speaks VOLUMES!

      Cons

      Some folks are a little resistant to change in a company that is constantly changing. BUT, the leadership team works hard to improve that!

      Not as it seems - Be Careful

      Pros

      Hardworking co-workers that are skilled and top in the industry.

      Cons

      Toxic environment. The message from the CEO that is shared publicly is not how the CEO leads behind closed doors. SmartRecruiters needs to practice what it preaches as an HR Technology Company that is trying to set the example globally. Leadership is not aligned with strategy locally or globally. If you challenge, you are conveniently replaced. Contributions made are quickly forgotten as strategy is constantly changing. Global is not supported the same way that San Francisco is. SmartRecruiters has created an amazing image of company culture and support. It is sad that this is not the internal experience and management can’t be trusted. Each team is out to protect their own people at the cost of other teams and customer impact.

      Don't Be Fooled.

      Pros

      - Mostly great group of people. Everyone's insanely smart. - Location is central. - Free lunch MWF

      Cons

      - Value a culture of motivation by fear. Environment of second-guessers. - Lack of investment from senior management. Started as an intern when there were 10 people in the room and stayed for 2 years never once receiving feedback, advice, or encouragement from the CEO. - No structure, senior management is constantly changing their minds. - Low pay, lame benefits. - You'll regularly find employees crying or on the verge of a panic attack from stress. - Known bullies in the office, no one does anything about it.
