Pros
Company has clear goals and everyone is more than ready to help. Great team atmosphere with practically everyone sharing the same goal of progressing the product/company
Cons
No real cons to speak of. Work life balance can be a struggle at times but that's generally expected of a startup

Great Company Culture

Amazing company culture and everyone is like family. Company plans fun happy hours and activities every month. They want to make sure you are happy working there. Catered meals, flexible work from home hours and unlimited PTO is a major plus to help with work life balance. Management is very nice and easy to talk to if you have a problem. They have the mindset of 'we succeed together and we fail together' so it is never one persons fault if something goes wrong or something goes exceedingly well.
Cons
There aren't very many negative things to say about SmartRecruiters.

Pros
Fantastic place to work, grow your career, and develop. If you are interested in Tech and HR solutions this is the company. I can affirm that there is a work/life balance here, the office culture is authentic, the products are state-of-the-art and leadership is genuine. SR has remained agile and innovative and the organization has continued to grow, develop and gain momentum in the recruitment software space. I also think the new hire orientation and onboarding curriculum were very effective in the first weeks of employment. My manager has been a great resource when it comes to providing me with the necessary tools, training and guidance that is essential for my continued learning, success and career development.
Cons
As a new joiner in a rapidly evolving startup; sometimes it can be confusing as to which other designated reps or teams (besides my manager or fellow team members), would be equipped to address other miscellaneous/specialized types of questions that are on my mind.

Respected in the industry. Colleagues from all over the world. Truly remote. Pays well. Visionary leadership. People team cares for their people. Mission oriented.
Cons
Must be growth minded or will burn out. Because we've scaled quickly, change is the new constant. Global teams and flexible work structures means that the onus to balance work & life is on you.

Pros
Amazing product, great people, engaged upper management. Superior pay, benefits and work/life balance. This is a company that LIVES their values and truly believes in their product. The atmosphere is contagious! I can't say enough good things. If you don't require micro management, like being independent, have the ability to drive change and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this is the place to be. Mediocracy doesn't exist at this company. Oh, and there are quite a few examples of Instead of the leadership team working with an associate on a 'better fit' and transitioning them to a new position that focuses more on their strengths instead of just eliminating them. That speaks VOLUMES!
Cons
Some folks are a little resistant to change in a company that is constantly changing. BUT, the leadership team works hard to improve that!
