    Pros

    My experience working for this company has been GREAT right from my interview process, to hiring, on-boarding and transitioning from part time to full time. I have met some amazing people during my tenure from Operations to Clinical side who are always willing to help. A big shout out to Corrine Trabert for lending support and guidance. She shows a sincere interest in her team and provides solutions to their problem. Friendly environment. Having in-house specialist helps in providing comprehensive care to patients. Great working hours. Patient focused care. Dentist Autonomy . CE opportunities and platform to network with dentists from other offices. In short, they set you up for success. Best place for your career.

    No leadership or support
    Dental not allowed outside of company
    Leadership mentors are stress not supportive working as a team not against each other just to look

    Advice to Management

    give employees a chance to learn business if only focusing on numbers, benefits for dental should be a choice not a demand to use only by employer. better. Support for management trickles down to who they mentor we are there for are patients, marketing made be important but so are the employees.

    Pros

    I have been working at the business support office and the collaboration and teamwork is unlike any other places I have worked for. Everyone is willing to help one another, even across different departments. Upper management really wants you to succeed too because at the end of the day, we all have one goal- Smiles for Everyone!
    People are very focused here at the office but they also know how to have a good time during our company events!

    Cons

    Benefits package could be a better- healthcare plans are a little high and PTO is a little low.

    I have been working at Smile Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    One of the best reasons to my office, is my team. We are basically well organized on how to run our office. We have good communication and work so well as a team. Not to mention my doctor who has patience and compassion for her patients as well as good service to our patients needs. My manager and TC are awesome on scheduling our patients and explain treatment plans thoroughly to make sure our patients do same day treatment and leave our office with a smile.

    Since our office is productive with a good team , I'd only like for the office to be upgraded.

    Great benefits, work like balance, good hours, good training for new hires and good team atmosphere. Able to reach out to team members.

    Cons

    Schedule, not enough time to educate and give a great experience to all patients. Too many appointment s cause to run behind.

    Pros

    The company is filled with really talented people who work hard, but are understanding and happy to help you learn. The environment is really casual and there doesn't seem to be pretentious "I'm better than you" attitudes out of the upper leadership. Managers know what they want and hold you accountable but in a very collaborative way. They want you to succeed and will challenge you do do so.

    Cons

    Honestly I really enjoy working here, everything is great, and the company is successful. The only thing I can think as a negative is the benefits? While the pay is pretty good, the PTO is kinda awful. It accrues really slowly and sick and vacation time are lumped together. Also, their dental only covers Smile Brands dentists. Granted, they don't charge employees monthly premiums, but if you love your current dentist you will either have to leave or get your own insurance on the side. There is 401(K) but no company match.

    That said, Medical is average so no complaints there and the culture really does make up for a lot of the benefits "cons."

    Advice to Management

    You guys have fostered a really great work environment that makes coming to work fun, but you should take a look at making PTO more competitive. My last company had awful benefits but still had better PTO policies.
