    Pros

    Excellent health insurance and prescription benefits, company car, and base salary was competitive.

    Cons

    Unrealistic sales goals and zero work life balance. Travel was expected to take place on personal time outside of “selling hours”, so meetings, work travel, etc were all on Sunday and late Friday into early Saturday morning. Management that would micromanage and call outside of reasonable work hours. Expectations that a 12 hour day is the norm if you want to succeed.

    Advice to Management

    Having mandatory corporate meetings over holidays and weekends is ludacris. In addition, harassing employees on weekends and late at night is unacceptable. Promote reps who are well rounded. Just because a rep has consistent sales doesn’t mean they are management material. Internal management reviews from subordinate employees should be considered. I think it would be eye opening and would help with the high employee turnover.

    Pros

    Personally working for a wonderful Manager. Solid product portfolio, well respected name in the Wound Care industry. Fantastic training Dept. Opportunities to grow and develop should you want it. Great work life balance.

    Cons

    Upper management doesn’t always understand all areas of business across divisions. Some divisions have been selling the same products for many years and growth can be a challenge. Recently went from company car to car allowance. The stipend is no where near enough to cover maintenance.

    Advice to Management

    On the right path with leveraging our entire portfolio. Individuals in negotiating positions with IDN’s please learn other divisions business. Please increase car allowance to cover more of the maintenance costs, especially those in larger territories.

    Inventory issues, issues at the corporate level. Some holes in product portfolio

    Advice to Management

    Need to get products out faster and stop slowing production last quarter every year!
