    I worked at Snap-on full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great pay and good benefits. Great people to work with in local office. I worked there for 15 years and had great mentors

    Cons

The expected growth and workload was unrealistic for the limited number of employees per department. Corporate management's resolve just moved the work around and placed blame instead of adding resources and taking accountability.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who do the job everyday and dedicate themselves. It's only logical that teamwork actually includes the whole team

    Pros

The company likes quality and strives to do things well. The people are friendly and upper management will speak with you if you request it.

    Cons

Lack of employee growth and everything is completely siloed even within the same organization.

    Advice to Management

Make more employee growth programs and promote from within. We need to increase communication and have better collaboration.

    I have been working at Snap-on full-time

    Pros

I love that you could pick your own hours to come in as long as you got a full days worth of work in. Upper management has lots of good insight and put the time in to teach interns and younger employees important skills.

    Cons

The office lacks a modern touch. The people there can be somewhat old school when it comes to planning office activities.

    Advice to Management

HR is the biggest problem for this location. They are so old school and don't want to spend a single dime to make any improvements.

    I worked at Snap-on full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for; consistent training and new challenges on a daily basis. Set schedule, great pay for the work performed.

    Cons

Franchisees are constantly dumping on us, blaming us for their own lack of knowledge. Also, they recently let 5 people go on a workforce reduction without any warning or effort to move them within the company. Lack of any mobility within the company also really hurts.
