    Pros

    Industry Leader. You are definitely part of something exciting and a change maker in the industry. The company cares deeply about its customers.

    Cons

    Not a lot of career development. The company runs lean on resources. Seems like there are lots of unnecessary “secrets” everywhere.

    Advice to Management

    More transparency and communication to your employees. Work hard to root out the politics.

    Relaxed environment Cool free products (may or may not work) There's a beer cart every few months where you can get 1 or 2 free beers Small Company

    Cons

    Nepotism, people who haven't performed are promoted Lack Of accountability PMs try to pressure test and validation team into accepting faulty products Crappy manufacturers from China making crappy products Try to launch new products when projects from 2-3 years ago still haven't been finished Pressure PMs to achieve unrealistic dates Culture of cutting corners to launch products that are half done Pride themselves on making "top of the line" products but this only applies to a few categories, for all other products we're glorified dealers Product development over promises on products they can't launch then look for scape goats Couldn't launch an audio project to save their life (that's why we're selling Sonos and KEF now)

    PM processes in line before NPD dies or cut the dead weight and just become a 100% dealer.

    Great company with strong team environment

    Cons

    The company has always experienced change. Happens with rapid growth. But the last year has been a lot of change and maybe too fast. If they don't get their focus back on the core business, they could wake up losing.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it simple. Pick three things to focus on and actually follow through to see it to the end.

    I worked at SnapAV full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Good inside sales team / warehouse.

    Cons

    -Unrealistic growth/ Bonus structure. -Nepotism runs rampant in management. - No Real room for growth (see bullet above) - Benefits upon arrival and departure are poorly explained. - HR will try to scam you out of PTO if you don't understand your labor laws, depending on what state you're based in. - A/V Sales

    Advice to Management

    Crack down on bad management in your local acquisitions. I worked for one of them which I will not name. There was much nepotism resulting in lazy reactionary business practices. No real training plans. Explain benefits to your acquisition(s) employees better.

    Cons

    Politics in the Marketing department can be draining. A lot of Drama.

    You'll be tasked with many different technologies and stacks

    Cons

    You'll be expected to do it in an unrealistic amount of time with no support while juggling 10 other jobs, while paying salaries from the 90's.

    Advice to Management

    No need. They think they're smarter than everyone else so they wouldn't listen anyway.

    Systems need upgrading. The company is growing quickly and still managing far too much on spreadsheets.
