    Pros

Product is great--Route support is good--You are selling the best pretzels in the business.

    Cons

Tough to get displays especially at the mass merchants

    Advice to Management

You have a great product with Snyder's but I did not see Lance held in the same high regard.

    I worked at Snyder's-Lance full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Company vehicle even for personal use

    Cons

No work life balance. Trick people into buying routes then force them to sell product to stores that does not sell. Ibo' s lose money and work 70 to 80 hrs a week. Little pay for them after expenses. Non stop phone calls emails and text messages. District managers are blamed for everything.

    Advice to Management

Company needs to hire salespeople not sell routes . They want the product sold but don't want to pay to get it done
Hire salespeople provide benefits. This is a third rate company that is a joke.

    Pros

Benefits are great, 401K, Vision, short and long term disability, stock options

    Cons

Lack of efficient air conditioning in the majority of the plant. Lots of dehydration among employees, Not much chance for advancement

    Advice to Management

12hr shifts may seem more efficient but it is extremely hard on the employees

    Pros

    Decent pay.
    Good people.
    Growing company.
    Acceptable benefits

    Cons

    No work/life balance
    Unacceptable workload
    Total lack of communication
Middle management never given tools to succeed.

    Advice to Management

Try to get the different departments to communicate. Sales/warehouse/production are all working towards different goals.
Cut rate carriers are killing supply chain reliability.
Don't rely so heavily on salaried employees yo get the work done. 60+ hours a week of work will burn anyone out

    Pros

Free Snacks from time to time and some nice people.

    Cons

Cheap company, poor teamwork, terrible communication, shady management, low pay, horrible conditions, no work life balance, customers pull own orders, sales team always at each other's throats, not much good to say.

    Advice to Management

None, these guys are completely lost. If people didn't love snacks so much the business would fall even deeper than it already is. Stop being so cheap.

I have been working at Snyder's-Lance full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

People I work with. Our bosses are fair and care about us. It’s like a family.

    Cons

Our Plant Manager is being sent to Wisconsin Because she was “promoted”. She has been in Jeffersonville for ever and she knows everything and everybody at the plant. We all knew it was going to happen. Corporate Only cares about Kettle Plants so the only to move up is to move out Jeffersonville.
But let’s see once people stop caring at Jeffersonville and leave how important Jeffersonville becomes.

    Advice to Management

    Leave well enough alone.
Get Beloit someone else and leave Jeffersonville ALONE!

    Pros

Most of your coworkers are great. The products the company manufacturer are great. Hours are flexible but are long. Easy to advance

    Cons

Every penny is micromanaged and now micromanaged and scrutinized more than ever. HR pretends they care and are working on a development plan. 0 training available.

    Advice to Management
