I have been working at Soaring Eagle Casino full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best paying kitchen jobs in the area, Plenty of Opportunity for Creative Freedom

    Cons

There's a lot of products that could be improved through investing in better equipment and ingredients. The gaming floor takes priority over the food service outlets.

    Advice to Management

Invest in proper ingredients, and equipment. If you're going to have food service outlets, they should be equipped with everything needed to make the best food possible especially the pastry kitchen.

I worked at Soaring Eagle Casino part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked in Room Service for a little over a year, and found it to be a great job. Working on an Indian reservation, the perks were not having to claim any of your cash tips, legally. Their hourly wage was also a dollar more than minimum wage, and an automatic 18% gratuity was also added on for every run that was made. The staff and management was great, and supported a good work life balance.

    Cons

It is difficult to move up if you are not apart of the tribe.

I have been working at Soaring Eagle Casino part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is great and the work is mentally non-strenuous. If you're physically fit, and don't mind walking and running, this is the job for you. One of my favorite things about this job is paid breaks: you get a 15 minute, 30 minute, and another 15 minute break every shift!

    Cons

Be ready to work every weekend, and most holidays. This is a business that runs 24/7, 365. Keep that in mind.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work with scheduling. I really appreciate you working around my college classes. Also, I enjoy the ability to request time off ahead of time. Balancing your life is much easier this way.

    Pros

Great place to work, supervisors and managers really care about your process of getting acclimated to your job and every one in the security department works well as a team.

    Cons

Every employee should have rotating weekends.

    Advice to Management

I believe work should be based on performance and not seniority.

Fairly easy job, training is efficient and covers everything. Immediate supervisors are helpful when needed. Opportunity for full-time and over-time. Willing to work with schedules.
