    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Société Générale full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Saturday and Sunday are days off

    Cons

Managers lack communication skills and do not understand how to engage with employees. Offering pizza and cake on a monthly basis is not how you do it. Provide an environment where employees look forward to coming to work, are respectful of each other and promote people based on their performance not their nationality or skin color.

    Advice to Management

See above. Listen. Not that it matters what is written here. SG Management has no interest in building team spirit. Insulting employees and treating them like trash is not how you promote engagement.

I worked at Société Générale as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

good company, laid back, good pay. Definitely not a stressful environment. People are very nice and good to work with.

    Cons

The jersey city office is 90% outsourced to India or Broadridge. The company can be a little too laid back bc its a French bank. You can send an email to the France team at 8 and won't get a response until 11-12. When you start it'll take over a month to get access to all your systems.
