I worked at Société Générale full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

large bank, multi product offering in capital markets

    Cons

    poorly managed in the U.S

    Advice to Management

I think the head of the bank in France is fine, but in my 6 years here, we were treated to a variety of expats who came in to run things, nearly always did a bad job, constantly changing direction in a reactionary fashion. All the while, they were safe in the knowledge that they were probably heading to another overseas gig afterwards.
The local mid management weren't very good either. Some fine people work here, but it lacks real leadership
