Pros
There’s a few things I aimed to learn in softinn, to explore the industry, improve myself, and do everything that I can to assist them. I was given opportunities to explore different tasks and find out what are the things that best suit me,and I did. They make sure every tasks given to me provides me a learning experience. It’s a great experience overall and I’d definitely recommend people to join softinn. As expected, they have a great working culture and there’s no single communication problem here. Everyone’s open to suggestions.
Cons
Being in a Business department, multitasking is one of the things that is quite exhausting. Hence, time management is important so that u won’t get too worked up.

Pros
- As an intern, you directly impact the product and your opinions are valued by the company. You feel valued and you do valuable work. - Product Team (software development) specific: You gain exposure to industry tools and methodologies that you may not learn in college. - Friendly, helpful, incredible, and motivated people. - There's a positive culture within the company of being open to feedback and having an eagerness to improve.
Cons
- Fast-paced. It could be overwhelming at times. It might be helpful to communicate expectations with your supervisor more often. Remember that you're not expected to know everything as an intern but what is more important is a willingness to learn. - Compensation on the lower end. However, I found that the learning opportunities are worth more than the compensation, especially in the long term.
- Current Intern, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
• Onboarding (a constantly improving process) (your feedback is valued) • The boss (understanding and approachable) • Able to learn how a SME runs and contribute. (isn't that a major point of interning?) • Friendly co-workers (my team and my lunch buddies) • Able to share opinions and contribute ideas freely (nice culture) • Room for creativity in projects (depends on department) • Company Events (not as much due to pandemic) • Free snacks (restocked monthly) (in office of course, so not for work from home) • Anonymous suggestions (If you have a valid complaint) (I never used this though) TLDR Good Environment. Good People. Try it Yourself.
Cons
• The nature of your task may fluctuate based on company status, industry trends and global issues so be prepared for change. (but to be fair this applies to others too) • Small team so not for you if you want to experience working in a huge company • Fast paced company, tasks usually span few days to a week (so not for you if you like a slow relaxed environment? if there is such a thing. )

Great learning and work experience
Sep 8, 2021 - Full Stack Developer in MelakaRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have learned a whole lot more than I expected here, way more than I expected. The work culture was also great as everyone was friendly, and patient while also being professional.
Cons
Challenges include having to juggle between various tasks while maintaining code standards. Additionally, there is rarely a break in between releases, but the workflow is consistent that way.

Good place to learn from and work in
May 31, 2021 - Anonymous Intern in MelakaRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good work environment and culture Friendly boss and co-workers Lots of opportunities to share feedback and questions Learned a lot about the hotel and programming industry Free-flow snacks in the office Good equipment provided for increased productivity
Cons
Loners (like me) who are used to working on projects by themselves may find it a tiny bit difficult to shift to working independently in a communication-heavy team. (Not a con of the company, just a weakness that I learned and need to improve on)
