Challenges include having to juggle between various tasks while maintaining code standards. Additionally, there is rarely a break in between releases, but the workflow is consistent that way.

Cons

- Former Intern, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- As an intern, you directly impact the product and your opinions are valued by the company. You feel valued and you do valuable work. - Product Team (software development) specific: You gain exposure to industry tools and methodologies that you may not learn in college. - Friendly, helpful, incredible, and motivated people. - There's a positive culture within the company of being open to feedback and having an eagerness to improve.
Cons
- Fast-paced. It could be overwhelming at times. It might be helpful to communicate expectations with your supervisor more often. Remember that you're not expected to know everything as an intern but what is more important is a willingness to learn. - Compensation on the lower end. However, I found that the learning opportunities are worth more than the compensation, especially in the long term.
- Current Intern, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good work environment and culture Friendly boss and co-workers Lots of opportunities to share feedback and questions Learned a lot about the hotel and programming industry Free-flow snacks in the office Good equipment provided for increased productivity
Cons
Loners (like me) who are used to working on projects by themselves may find it a tiny bit difficult to shift to working independently in a communication-heavy team. (Not a con of the company, just a weakness that I learned and need to improve on)
