I have been working at Softway full-time

    Pros

At whichever level you are, the company pushes you to do more and to achieve more. You will be required to handle bigger parts of projects and entire projects much, much sooner at Softway than anywhere else. But these challenges help you to learn far more than you would at most other companies. The hiring process brings in ONLY technically strong people into the company and thereby, the culture is a very... technically driven one. Seniors in the company are focused, competent and helpful.

    Cons

Infrastructure - A bigger cafeteria to accommodate more employees will be very welcome On Site Opportunities - Mostly all those with 2+ years of experience get onsite opportunities. Highly performing freshers should also be considered for onsite opportunities in the future.

    Advice to Management

Overall, Softway is a really nice place to work. A few changes will ensure that it is a great place to work!

"My Reply . . .On your Justification"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Engineer in Bangalore

I worked at Softway full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Your Justification - Thank you for your feedback and your confirmation that Softway is a great place to learn. While we firmly believe that home-grown talent and senior employees are wonderful to have in an organization, we are not averse to bringing in external talent at different levels through-out the organization. Among many senior positions whom we have on-boarded of late, we are proud to count as one of our... own, a COO with over 20 years of experience as well as a CTO with over 19 years of experience – both of whom have worked for global multinationals prior to joining Softway.

    Cons

My Reply - I agree to this to an extent but can you please tell me on what basis do you evaluate the home grown talent? What are the measures you take to judge their talent? Is it just the tenure they spend or how loyal they have been? Or do you send them through any Management certifications, Interviews, Leadership Coaching? Appreciate you have been growing everyday hence we need new brains & different market... ideas to the floor) But cannot give the entire production rope to people who don’t have any market intelligence/people/industry values. One question... Can you please tell me how many of your leaders have undergone any PMP/CAPM/PRINCE/MPM/CPM/PMITS Certifications
