Pros
  • Excellent work life balance with work from home option (in my project) (in 45 reviews)

  • 401k match is good, even though it is paid only at the end of the year - 9% for 150% match (in 69 reviews)

Cons
  • Hard to maintain a work-life balance as there are several out-of-work events that you are highly recommended to attend on a monthly basis (in 22 reviews)

  • Bonus program is a big joke because it's fully controlled by the head of the unit (in 35 reviews)

    Pros

Great culture. Tenured senior leaders and practice leaders. Great benefits.

    Cons

Commute to the office in Las Colinas and/or different client sights can be tough depending on where you live.

    Advice to Management

Keep attracting and retaining top talent.

I have been working at Sogeti full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very strong team in place. Practice Managers and Technical Team are really good. Core team has been together for a long time so there is a history of stability. Nice benefits and very strong 401k program.

    Cons

Environment is intense. If you aren't used to being pushed then there will be an adjustment period. You are surrounded by successful people and if you aren't of the same mindset and determination it won't be a a good fit. You can really have a lot of success if you are driven and set lofty goals.

I have been working at Sogeti full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sogeti's Summer of Service Program is excellent! A great way for Sogetian's to take part in making their community a better place to live.

    Cons

Because we work hard with and for our clients the majority of the time, it's important and sometimes difficult to still make Sogeti events a priority.

    Advice to Management

Continue to offer and promote rich programs such as Sogeti's Summer of Service and encourage consultants to take time out and take advantage of the opportunity to give back and get out of the office for while. It's good for the soul.

I have been working at Sogeti full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It's a job that sort of pays the bills.

    Cons

To keep this short, this is one of the worst companies to be a consultant for in the Seattle region. This should be your last resort in a job. Please take the advice you are reading here and take an offer from somebody else.

    Advice to Management

Learn to respect your employees and value them as people and not just a number on your spread sheet.

I worked at Sogeti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

none, would not work there again.

    Cons

You will be working on your own, no one will be there to help you. All of the benefits that they offer like education reimbursement and the 401K will be charged back when you leave the company. I was there for almost 2 years when I resigned, they took all of the money they paid for continue education back from my last check and all of their contribution from my 401K.
