I have been working at Sojern full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Health benefits, work from home flexibility, casual dress, career advancement, open door policy, coworkers, free snacks, drinks, and alcohol

    Cons

Lots of change but that's expected as we continue to rapidly grow, sometimes that can be hard for people though.

    I worked at Sojern full-time

    Pros

Worked directly with some amazing people and built some great relationships. Exciting industry (pre-COVID), fun culture.

    Cons

Lack of training - had a week of various training meetings - not a lot of hands on training. While I appreciated the autonomy, some formal training would have been very helpful at the start. Follow the training check-ins to make sure you're on track. Communication - big disconnect between verticals, where the "larger" vertical seemed more important even when told other verticals were the future of the company. No indications of the COVID layoff, which blindsided everyone. It was unfortunate that the layoff news didn't come from the CEO. Managing styles varied and caused clash/confusion between direct managers and team members. It was always something we dealt with, but never addressed.

Management seems to change direction a little too often.

I worked at Sojern full-time for more than a year

    Pros

AMAZING culture to be a part of. Managers were always so knowledgable and willing to help with everything from day-to-day issues to career/personal development.

    Cons

Processes change a lot and very quickly. Adaptability is key for working here.

I worked at Sojern full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

One of the best companies I have worked for! Sojern has a leadership team with vision, enthusiasm and genuine care for their employees from executive leadership all the way through to middle management. Sojern makes their employees a top priority and it shows through the investment they make in training for managers and for individual contributors, and in their commitment to promote and groom strong leaders who invest in the individuals on their respective teams. The team is full of driven, high achieving, people who also like to mix in fun. If I had to pick Sojern's mantra it would be "Work hard, play hard".

    Cons

There are regularly growing pains, however, those are to be expected in a high growth company.

I worked at Sojern full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great culture where they don't micromanage. If you get your work done and it's at a certain quality level nobody will be looking over your shoulder. Flexibility to work from home and also good food to chose from in the office.

    Cons

    Strategy can sometimes change often.

I have been working at Sojern full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexibility, fast-paced environment, you can have an opinion and impact in the company.

    Cons

As a fast-paced company, there are many things changing at the same time so you are dealing sometimes with a lot of information from different departments, the company needs more structure.

I have been working at Sojern full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great work life balance-everyone understands that you have a life outside of the office and is extremely accommodating. You are respected and given lots of autonomy if you earn it.

    Cons

High goals sometimes leads to a short term focus on hitting goals and not on long term growth and sustainability.
