    Pros

    We are a team. We work hard, collaborate and are always focused on the families we serve.

    Cons

    I’m extremely happy. I could say I’d like to make more money or have more time off but who wouldn’t? This jobs is actually more than a lot of other places I’ve looked.

    Advice to Management

    Yesterday our CEO stood in front of the entire office team and told us that we have far more referrals coming in than we have openings for. That this is a time to work together, stay positive and focused on connecting our families to services. She told us when we get busy and stressed that is when it’s easy to be negative and work against each other, but we don’t do that at Solace. She gave a rallying cry for... all of us to step up to the plate. It left us all with goose bumps, and gave the boost we need right now to get through this busy time. I’ve never had a meeting like that before.

    I have been working at Solace Home Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    I began working at Solace in 2016 and have seen this company transform over the last couple years. I love the flexibility of the job and the car program is unparalleled. The office staff works hard and is wonderful to interact with. I work with the best families and feel very supported by management to be the best clinician I can be. I often co-treat with other Solace therapists and these are most often my favorite... sessions- lots of creativity, collaboration and fun! The company has grown to support mid management/mentor positions that have been great and increased collaboration between therapists in each regional area. Solace has good benefits and is a company that I can grow with. Being a bilingual clinician, I have never felt stressed with a low caseload aside from my initial months here building my caseload. This is the best job I have ever had and hope things continue to be great as the company gets larger and changes continue to unfold.

    Cons

    Like all home health jobs, it takes time to have the caseload you want in the area you want to serve. The first year (especially the first 4 months) was hard financially and I relied on a PRN job to survive. Changes come quickly, which can be stressful. Since I started, most processes have changed in one way or another. No no-show pay is a bummer and there are some unpaid training/documentation time that gets to be... less and less as your efficiency increases. When I first started, clinicians were more in control of incoming referrals and scheduling, which I enjoyed. This has been taken over by the patient access department. I imagine that I would feel much more stressed/out of control if I were to start today. this shift does, however reduce emails and scheduling time for the therapists.

    I am thankful every day for the wonderful opportunities Solace Team has opened for me. I have worked in other areas of healthcare; no other company has ever helped with my goals like Solace does. The clinicians and office staff are friendly and it is one big happy family. Solace Team exudes positive, reassurance on who they are . Management, mentors, coworkers; all care so much when it comes to their patients and... each other. They all take pride in what Solace's Mission stands for when they step into the office/home.

    No cons for me. There are growing pains with every company; Solace tries to get ahead of it when possible. Without obstacles how are we as a Company suppose to grow and learn.

    Leadership is not only transparent but they are responsive as well. Many recent improvements to our office, processes and systems came from a direct suggestion from clinicians. Monthly Dinner with Directors allows us to not only stay up to date with leadership's plans for the future but the open forum for questions allows us to give direct feedback. Amazing benefits, fantastic work-life balance and lots of... exciting for professional development and career growth. The company promotes from within and honors the contributions of employees from all levels. Significant growth over the past couple of years over 300% in past 3 years!

    Cons

    With growth comes growing pains - as we outgrow systems that once worked, the change can be difficult. Several of these transitions have happened during my tenure and required adjustment. In the end, the changes were for the better and allow us to serve more children and help them live their best lives.

    Keep up the good work! I feel blessed to be working for a company that is so well aligned from the bottom up. It is an honor to be working with such an amazing team and in support of such a pure goal.

    They have good benefits, make your own schedule,

    Cons

    Worked here for a year + and was only to caseload for 2-3 months, they blame you when you’re not to caseload and take your PTO at the end of a quarter for not making quota even when you ask for more patients. You don’t get any holidays off you’re expected to make up visits even if they fall on holidays (including Christmas and Thanksgiving)! Management is unapproachable and not helpful. Whatever you do, don’t go on... maternity leave with this company, they will take your caseload and expect you to build it back up after you come back, which they have a proven track record of being unable to get you to caseload and keep you there!

    No overtime allowed. U clock in/out 6 times per day.

    I'm a current employee and have been with the company for 2 years. The best thing about working for Solace is that they aren't afraid to take risks and they continually invest in innovative technologies that make the company efficient. They don't settle and look at how other companies operate, they look to set themselves apart from the competition and set the bar in the market. The opportunities that upper... management provides are by far the best I've ever seen. The company invests in it's employees and provides the resources for everyone to be successful. Truly a great company to work for!

    Amazing room for growth. I've been here for a little under 2 years and I couldn't be happier! I'm at a place that feels like they value me and wants me to succeed. How could anyone not want that? Working with Clinicians and Office staff is really awesome since you get to see both sides of this whole company come together to treat kids that need it the most.

    Pizza Fridays would be pretty rad. Just Saying.
