I have been working at Solidiance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Stunning work life balance when you are not in peak times
Firm is generous in arranging regular fun events and funding daily fun activities during and after work
Most colleagues are fun loving making this work experience a memorable chapter of your life

    Cons

The majority of people including management in this company do not have strategy consulting experience, if they have it is for a short period of time.
Utterly unhealthy practices especially during partner assessments in the MENA region.
compliance with business ethics is said to be unnecessary and childish and management believe business ethics are for text books not for real business.
Low salaries for most employees but very high salaries for management's favorite.

    Advice to Management

Don't push employees to flag negative comments in Glassdoor cause by doing this you are admitting to your weaknesses that will backfire on you!
If you really have some larger consultings want to acquire you, seriously sell and do something you are good at.

    No HR, no career plan/development
Lot of talk but little action

    Advice to Management

Organize your company, adhere to local laor and tax laws, set priorities in what services you provide and focus on your core business. Too much show off and over-marketing. Overpromising to clients

The staff in each office is small enough, you can get to know each other pretty well

    Cons

    Misrepresentation during intelligence
They're willing to take a project for low contract pay from companies, so it is reflected in your pay

    Advice to Management

Be selective with projects, and increase the salary

I have been working at Solidiance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great client exposure, fun to work with colleagues, flat structure, place to learn different industries and consulting methodologies, good work life balance - unlike at typical consulting firms

    Cons

sometimes OT is inevitable; despite efforts of senior management in recruiting, more staff are needed; some people don't fit in, but they leave soon anyway

I have been working at Solidiance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to work with biggest global clients / Fortune 500 companies mostly, and really interesting projects (like growth strategy, growth roadmaps, channel strategy, etc.) so we're always learning new things. We get to present to the senior leadership of our clients. The learning curve is extremely steep and we are constantly challenged and learning. The culture is really good, people are really smart, driven and professional but also really friendly.

We get RMB 1,000 of free movie tickets every year which is really nice, and monthly phone reimbursement. Lots of company activities also.

    Cons

We need more team members, the company's growth is very fast, so the management needs to hire more people.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more people.

    I worked at Solidiance part-time

    Pros

You'll get hands on experience and extensive knowledge about industry insights. Might work on niche industry (could be hard and intense), but you'll definitely learn a lot from the project and be competitive in the field in terms of strategy and market insights.
I spend very short time working at Solidiance, but I can tell the senior managers and partners devote a lot to brand building, talent sourcing/management, that's the best thing I see from this firm. It'll be a great chance for you to work closely with them (they're very nice to employees include interns, and open to coaching employees)
You'll work with different ppl when you receive new projects, would be great to know everyone and learn from each other

    Cons

Ppl are polite rather than warm, you might need to spend significant period of time to get to know everyone

    Advice to Management

more activities for employees to know each other (like team lunch or mingle)

I have been working at Solidiance full-time

    Pros

Intelligent and friendly people and a lot of exposure with big companies.

    Cons

Salary is not competitive at all, management cares very little about employees and does not spend enough on making them happy/giving the best work conditions.

    Advice to Management

Spend more on the people inside the firm and give them the tools to do a good job.
