I have been working at SomnoMed full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly people who seem to care about each other. Fast challenging environment. Good benefits like health insurance plans, dental, Vision, 401k. PTO and sick time. Diverse group of people. Great device that really helps people. Education assistance.

    Cons

Needs better training and on-boarding process for new employees. Communication, but that is issue for every company. Should give perks or bonuses for good performance or reaching goals.

    Advice to Management

Invest money to improve infrastructure. Upgrade systems and technology to support and attract skilled work force.

    Pros

Absolutely none. Not kidding, the management team is so fake and care about no one nor the company.

    Cons

Products are bad lots of persistent customer problems. This job is hated by all pepole. I wish I could give a lower score than 1 star.

    Advice to Management

How could one team be so bad and how has every ridiculous, unqualified person come together. Where did you find each other? Entire executive team is so so so bad!!

    Pros

There really are no pros to list. The reality is the positive reviews are made up by the management team. If you enjoy working with low caliber people, then this place is great for you.

    Cons

If there was an option to give this place a negative star, I totally would have. This place is literally HELL on earth! Management will use you for ideas, they will promise things and never deliver, and they constantly contradict themselves which makes for an extremely frustrating and stressful work environment. Every once in a while they make a promise to change the way things are and to make an effort to create a... more positive work environment but this "effort" will last for about a week. The company has no clear direction, extremely high turn over. They don't provide reviews on overall performance, so you cant get a raise or a promotion.

I worked at SomnoMed full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I left before going insane. I guess if you are upper management, you can write fake reviews about the company like the 5 star review before this one.

    Cons

Working here is a con. They con you into thinking that they got your back, and that you are important part of the team. The worst part is the people that run that ship. They about to run it into an iceberg.

    Advice to Management

I have a lot of advice to give to management here but they won't listen. They already know what is best for them and won't listen to anyone below them. Drive safe.

I worked at SomnoMed full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Many good people work here. Management/leadership is hit or miss (mostly miss). They "try" to improve.

    Cons

Each department is very isolated from others - there is little to no cross-functional opportunities or collaboration which will sometimes show for major communication issues and poor customer experiences. You will see one manager and department structure one week and a whole new approach the next - not consistent and always "evolving" with little to no strategy or plan. This is a result of little to no strategy with... overall company direct from leadership (President and CEO). The President does not have a backbone and does not support his team - he is quick to throw someone under the bus publicly based on one remark from a disgruntled customer. Other than those instances, in the last 5 years he hasn't been too involved with the company at all - very little face time and rarely offers any direction other than to hammer volumes and sales losses/failures. Randomly started doing BBQs for staff after an employee survey revealed that we didn't think he was human. Consequently of leadership being out of touch with actual team and department workload (and having no strategy), the workload often becomes excessive and overlooked. Employees are given too many projects and tasks even after warning management of workload vs. quality concerns. HIGH employee turn over rate often leads to a lot of confusion - why? Little to no formal on-boarding process other than sitting down with the employee handbook and going to an outsourced HR website. Don't expect a bonus or any perks. The mindset is "you are lucky you have a job so go do your work"... Have literally heard managers say this to employees.

    Advice to Management

Stop spinning the truth for the board and CEO. Realize that the PEOPLE that do the work make the difference.

    Cons

Horrible management, treat employees like dirt. They just want to make sure they hit their quota. It's always a blame game. Stay as FAR away as you can from this company.

    Pros

There are not any pros at this company. I've tried to think of one and there is really no pros at all.

    Cons

Bad management all around. Everybody has ideas at this company but no one wants to work. Constant turnover. Company has literally lost at least 14 people this year and it's not a big company.

    Advice to Management

Hire a new president and let him bring his own management.

I have been working at SomnoMed full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone is helpful and great to work with, giving it a comforting feeling. There is plenty to do throughout the day and working in multiple areas helps avoid burn out. They are flexible with their employees if time is needed for a day off/ able to make sure you are taken care of. There is a break room with vending machines/ coffee/tea etc. Somnomed offers benefits (with different plan choices) and does a great job... (compared to others) at treating employees like people.

    Cons

Hours are long, but makes for a good check! There is a need for more employees due to the inflow of work and increase in business. More people are being hired so the work flow will be leveling out.

    Advice to Management

They have already been very open to discussions about concerns and so just keep on improving and doing what they have!

    I worked at SomnoMed

    Pros

    1. A lot to learn especially as an intern 2. Small company hence wear multiple hats and learn to be more efficient

    Cons

Small company hence less preduct lines, although for an intern student to start with it was the perfect scenario and environment.

    Advice to Management

All management are easily approachable, including the president here. Good interaction amongst people and as it is a small team, there is ample opportunity to know each other
