    Pros

Pay is good. That's about it.

    Cons

The people are snobs. They openly discriminate. Ongoing lack of standardization unexpected at such a company. Lack of tools/information to preform job duties. Stubborn management when proposing ideas and solutions that "stray from scope". Stagnating. Favoritism. Two-faced (smile in your face calling it "professionalism" but would stab you in the back if given the chance. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you have the skills. Thank me later!

    Advice to Management

They wouldn't listen anyways. Believe me. I tried (understatement).

    Pros

Great way to enhance Customer Service skills. Awesome environment if you have the right team to work with. Lots of fun!!!

    Cons

Wish the corporate office would listen to the ideas of its employees sometimes. And pay attention, not take advantage of, to your managers that actually work hard.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your management. I know there are some that actually care about Sonic and what it brings to its customers.

I have been working at Sonic part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Tips (if you carhop)
    Fast Paced

    Cons

    Management is inconsistent, sometimes lazy
90% of the employees are reckless teenagers who want nothing more than the paycheck, and not to do it right.

If you work drive thru, you're often scolded for someone else's mistake.

Employees think they're managers and often give you commands, then managers scold you for not doing what the employee told you what to do.

Customers are rude and demanding. Often lie to get free food and drinks.

Pay is too low for what you get. I get more from a bottom position call center job than I do here as an AM.

    Advice to Management

This is more for district leaders since GM's & AM's, this will go to deaf ears. If your GM forgets to schedule someone for an opening shift, it's his fault for failing to do his job properly, not the employee's. If your GM & AM's who are on salary, do not help when asked to come in because the store is getting crushed with a rush, then don't pay them salary. You're essentially giving away free money.
