I worked at Sonoma State part-time

    Pros

Great first job, for getting used to working in an office. Think of this as an internship, where the entire company is ran by other interns. That is the level of professionalism, but that is okay. Everyone learns together and some years are better than others.

I worked at Sonoma State part-time

    Pros

Intrinsic value includes contributing to the school, but there are a plethora of better job opportunities off campus.

    Cons

Once-per-month payment, pushing carts across campus in glaring hot sun, difficult physical labor

    Advice to Management

Pay students more, develop easier methods of transporting larger quantities of linens across campus, weekly payments, add more incentives in general

    Pros

Little, high stress zero appreciation from upper mgmt. Great benefits and vacation package. Nice campus asthetically.

    Cons

Nepotism and narcissism. Too many people getting hired that are friends or girlfriends or boyfriends to upper management, completely out of control behavior.

    Advice to Management

Wake up, stop the narcisstic behavior.
