I worked at Sony Music Entertainment full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Tickets to concerts and showcases.

    Cons

Low pay, undervalued, politics and no room for growth. I watched 9 assistants come and go in my department, none of which were promoted. I was there for 3 and a half years and told that I would be promoted which never happened. They ended up letting me go saying that I outgrew the position.

I have been working at Sony Music Entertainment full-time

    Pros

Laid back enviornment, with good benefits and fun work. There's a good creative vibe to the workplace and the 401k match is great.

    Cons

Low pay for industry standards and not much room for growth especially in my particular area. Occasionally secretive upper Managment who hates taking blame.

I have been working at Sony Music Entertainment full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

A fast paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same! A great roster of talent and really smart executives with a passion for music.

    Cons

Hours can be long but rewarding. Not a lot of room for growth into senior management.

I have been working at Sony Music Entertainment for more than 5 years

    Pros

Label areas are fun and social. Great benefits.

    Cons

There is little to no room for growth or movement. Pay is lower than most other labels in the industry and MUCH lower than other industries. Promotions are few and far. Company is not growing and does not care about their employees. HR is beyond useless, poor work environment complaints and/or issues fall on deaf ears. Zero incentive.
