    Pros

Great location and the lot is a great place to hang out.

    Cons

Terrible management, TV has some highlights, but Theatrical and Crackle are just terrible products. No career progression. The whole place is pretty shambolic, unfortunately.

I worked at Sony Pictures Television full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Big names to include on my resume & being on the Sony lot. The harsh environment did motivate me to figure things out on my own, learn a lot, and become thick skinned.

    Cons

Underpaid, and treated like an assistant out of Devil Wears Prada. I was yelled at frequently and told this industry wasn't the right place for me, unfortunately my team of employees gave me a bad taste in my mouth about Sony as a whole.

    Advice to Management

Hire permanent Executive Assistants! As a Trainee I was underpaid, not given full employee benefits and had no potential of getting hired as a permanent member of the team. Also - assisting 3 people is just too much & too many personalities.

I worked at Sony Pictures Television full-time

    Pros

Great company benefits, teamwork environment, you feel part of the organization. What I liked most about Sony was being able to innovate with all the support from top management

    Cons

People tend to stay at their level for longer periods of time vs other companies. Being promoted is hard.

    Advice to Management

Plan better on career growth for your employees so you get better loyalty and more commitment to the job.

    Pros

Incredibly learning experience. I was surrounded by some of the best and brightest in the industry who were always willing to answer my questions. Being on the lot is incredible and there is always something interesting going on. A great introduction to the entertainment industry.

    Cons

I had such a positive experience it is hard to find downsides. I do know that some of the other interns at Sony did not get to do as much hands on work as I did, but overall they still had a really great internship.
