    Pros

Very laid back place to work. Benefits are great, coworkers are nice, and the atmosphere is awesome.

    Cons

Some areas may be understaffed, so you might find yourself doing a lot for one person, but as SE is a smaller university, it never gets too bad.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

People extremely nice. Working conditions were nice, always had up-to-date equipment. Clean working area. Campus mentality is one of a family.

    Cons

State governed and budgeted! Some professors were somewhat egotistical, but that is usual for the academic world. Parking during inclement weather was rough, even for staff.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to include part-time and student workers in planning. They have insight that sometimes the full-timers or long time employees may have forgotten or do not recognize.

    Recommends

    Pros

Great benefits, good amount of time off. Almost no weekend work

    Cons

Low pay - not competitive with market, not much room for advancement

    Advice to Management

offer incentives (like more pay) to people who do a good job. Right now, you get the same pay as the guy/gal who doesn't do their work
